Broken glass covered the floor, a mask of what was truly there. All his work had been for naught.

Michael slowly jiggety-hopped across the floor, hoping for a miracle.

It didn't come.

Instead, what Michael got was blisters across his foot.

The Leader's words reberverated around in his head.

There is no way to stop us.

He tried to ignore the second part of what he had heard.

But as he finally made it to the door, he opened it...

Dead bodies.

Dead bodies lay in heaps across the room.

It had truly all been for naught.

Michael was hopeless.

Helpless.

And too trusting.

Too useless.

There is no way to stop us.

Michael made his way across the room, his mind zeroing in on a certain person, and a certain sentence. The rest of the Leader's words...

And once you understand, you will not want to stop us.
