The next day was a rough one,as it was hard to wake up to and realize what had happened. I woke up with 1 missed call from Michael, and nothing else, which was sort of a disappoinment, but what was I to expect?

I didn't want to really get out of bed, or call Michael back. I sat up and looked over at my mirror and saw my messy ponytail. My tee shirt was all wrinkled up and oversized,it was almost as big as the one Luke had given me that night. My sweatpants were comfortable and warm and now I knew I didn't want to get up.

I layed back down and started to doze off for about 30 minutes. Suddenly, I heard knocking on my door. "Sweetie? It's me." my mom's voice said through my door. "Come in." I said, not getting up. She entered in and shut the door, barely, behind her. "Are you feeling alright?" She said, her back of the hand reaching over the feel my forehead.

"Mom, I'm not sick. I'm fine." I said, which led her to lift her hand up, as she sat down on the edge of my bed. "Well you seem out of it. You were perfectly fine and now you seem...attatched to the bed again." she said, not exactly knowing what to say. "No, I'm just tired. Too much excitement this week." I lied.

"Alright, Addy. If anything comes up, you come to me, okay?" She kissed my forehead and got up, and I just wanted to cry and yell. I wanted to scream about Luke and tell her how much of a liar I am to her and to him. I need to make things right, and I need to do it now.

I practically sprang out of my comfortable bed, which I soon regretted. I slipped off my sweatpants and put on some of my leggings, and a loose tank, with a grey cardigan. I put on my Vans and went over to my mirror.

I looked on the desk of the mirror and looked for my BB cream and applied it lightly, then put on my mascara and blended all my face out. It looked nice and fresh, and not too made up, just how I wanted it to be. I put on my cheap lip gloss, and then grabbed my phone, and went out of my room, and down the stairs.

"Mom, I have to go." I looked at her when I stepped into the kitchen.

"But you just-" She said before I stopped her.

"I know. Just, Mom. I have to do something." I said, not flinching a muscle.

"Addy, what are you doing?" she asked.

"I...I....have to apologize to someone." I finally said.

"Go ahead." she said, looking back down at her books, and I swore I saw her smile.

I walked out and I called Michael. It rang a few times before his familiar voice picked up to greet me.

"Hello?" he started.

"Michael? Do you know where Luke is?" I asked, immediately cutting to the chase.

"Uh, he's not here, so he's probably at his place. Wait, why?" he told me.

I tried to remember where his house was from my house, but it was too hard, as I was drunk, and it was from Michael's."Where is his house again?"

"Addy, why? You two just got in that argument yesterday why would you-"

"Please, Michael. I just really need to talk to him." I was practically begging at this point.

There was silence for a few seconds. "Alright. He lives closer to you then I do, actually. Go to where the park is but make a left instead of a right on the street." he explained and told me he'd text me the address. We hung up and I began to walk immediately.

As soon as I came to the two roads I made a left and walked all the way down and looked at Michael's text. Suddenly, the street became familiar. And up ahead was his house.

I was practically running at this point, and I knew it was right there almost. Suddenly I saw his house number, and his car was parked there. That's when my heart dropped and I wanted to go back home. And I wanted to give up. But no, I was here. Apologizing to Luke Hemmings.

I took a breath and slowly walked up his driveway and to his front steps and to his door. I lifted my hand cautiously and knocked. I didn't hear anyone for a minute but then someone opened the door, and it was the one and only, Luke Hemmings.

"What're you doing here?" he said, anger filling his voice.

"Luke, I came here because I wanted to talk to you." I said, standing outside still.

"Well, you came here with the wrong expectations." he said, beggining to shut the door.

"Luke! Please wait! Let me explain!" I said, putting my hand against the door.

"There's nothing to fucking explain!" he spat out.

"Yes,there is actually,"I retorted, looking at his blue eyes, filled with rage,"Just please. Let me talk." I plead.

He looked at me genuinely for a minute and then finally gave up. He let his guard down. "Alright. You have 5 minutes, and if you waste my time, I swear." He said, impatience growing, he opened the door and indicated letting me in.

I stepped in and he shut the door slowly. "Luke, Okay. About yesterday. The reason I did that is because I was so mad that you flipped out on me in the parking lot the day before. I was still upset and I... I didn't want to hang out with you. I know it was really wrong of me to lie-" I said and he interuppted me with a "Yeah it was."

"I know. So basically... I'm sorry. Luke... I'm really. really. really. sorry." I said, looking down to avoid emotions taking over. I finally manged to look up to see his face. He looked emotionless and looked like he didn't care.

"Addy, you should've told me you were mad. I know you think I would've freaked out but I would've talked it out. Listen, we're even. We both fuck up sometimes." he said, trying to make light of the situation. I smiled. "Friends?" I asked.

"Possibly. Just kidding, Yes. Friends." he said, and in that moment, he did something I would never forget. He reached over and he hugged me. It was the best hug I've ever had in my life. His arms were wrapped around me and it was so secure around me and it was warm. I felt safe and sound.

"Uh, sorry." he pulled away, after about 10 seconds, blushing. But he didn't have to be sorry.. because I secretly liked it.

MONDAY

The weekend flew by after me and Luke had made up, and I had to go back to school. It was going by fast today though, and by the time I got there, it practically ended. I don't know why, maybe it was because today we had an assembley. I saw Luke pass down the aisle to go sit with the guys, and I sat more up. He looked really nice today, he had on a flannel and a Vans shirt.

I walked out to the parking lot and walked over to Evan's car. He was on his phone and texting someone before I finally stood there for a minute. "Oh, hey. Alright, let's go." he said, as we loaded into his car. We began pulling out before he saw Calum with Luke and Ashton. He began to roll down the windows. "Hey, guys!" Evan yelled at them. They all scrambled over and then began talking, except for Luke. Luke was looking over at me in the passenger seat and smiled. I waved slightly. "Alright, guys. See you!" Evan pulled out more and drove off to the house, where I would spend the rest of my day.
