A new begining (RWBY fanfic)

chapter 2

Hey guys its me again making another chapter and this time in gonna try and make it a bit longer than the first one so wish me luck and here we go and I also should give a good thanks to editer for the last few paragraphs well here we go!!!

“Geez what's with that woman she was so rude” Ruby said rolling her eyes and then she made her way to the auditorium where the ceremony for the first year students began.

Ruby looks around to try and find a seat as she sees that girl in black again as she then walks down to her “Is this seat taken?” she asks with a smile. “No not at all, go ahead Ruby.” Blake says smiling back as she sees Ruby sit next to her. “So how do you like Beacon so far Ruby?” she asked with a curious look on her face.

“Well I made one enemy and one friend and that friend is you.” she says as her face started to blush a little bit looking at Blake. “Well I appreciate you accepting me as a friend.” she says with a smile as she looks towards the front to the stage as she sees Ozpin and Glynda Goodwitch.

“Students welcome to Beacon this school has been made to train you to become brave hunters and huntress.” Ozpin said with great enthusiasm.

“Well he seems to be happy for the new year and students” Yang said with a smile of excitement on her face.

“But I'll say this now the people in this room well…..all I see is wasted energy and space.”He said with an annoyed look as mumbling filled the auditorium from all the first years.

“Well if that didn't sound like being a dick then I don't know what does” Ruby said with an angry and frustrated look.

Blake looks at Ruby and nods her head in agreement. “But for now let's just try and get through this ok”

“So how about we all try and have a great year then and hope for the best oh and by the way your training starts tomorrow good day to you all.” he said with an enthusiasm look on his face as he then walked off the stage.

“Ugh looks like this is going to be terrible.” Weiss says suddenly making her appearance known from directly behind Ruby.

“Gah! How did you get there!? When did you get there?!” What the hell man?!” Ruby shouts in surprise. She leaps into Blake's arms unintentionally. Once she realizes this she blushes and detached herself all the while mumbling sorry and oops’s.

“I've been here the whole time.” Weiss states matter of factly. “So Ruby I was hoping we could talk for a bit?” She asks with curiosity in her eyes. And something that could be called pleading.

“I'm sorry.” Blake said. “But she and I have plans.” Ruby looks at Blake knowing hat that was a complete and total lie.

Ruby catches on and looks at Weiss. “Yeah, I'm sorry but we do. Maybe another time?” Ruby says but before she can get an answer she is whisked away by Blake. “So what is this about?” Ruby asks.

Blake opens her mouth to speak but is cut off by a squeal from Ruby. “Ruby did you just-” she speaks again.

“Stop Blake I need to say something before I lose my mind.” She says blushing redder than a sun slapped tomato. “B-Blake I… I, uh… Ihaveamonstercrushonyou!” She turns to run, already prepping her semblance for take off.

As she takes the first step Blake reaches out and grips her hood. “Ruby I-”

“Will all students come to the cliff’s for in action within five minutes.” Glyndas voice says over the intercom.

Ruby looks around and sees a dejected Weiss trudging off. “Well, guess we better get to the cliff’s huh?”

Ruby looks at the line up before she steps into her place on the launch pads. What she sees slightly startled her. She spots two people next to each other that seemed quite out of place. One was a tall fellow, about the same size as Yang. He had silver hair and a monk's robe. Now this would not be out of the ordinary except that his robes were black. “That is an insult to monk’s” Ruby thought silently. The next one she thought was out of place was the girl next to him. Standing significantly smaller than him. About Ruby's shoulder height. She had maroon hair that stretched down to her back, and she wore a sky blue jacket and because Ruby couldn't see her front she couldn't see the teal-ish green shirt she wore underneath.

“Listen up students.” Ozpin said loud enough for everyone to hear. “At beacon we stress the level that a good relationship can attain. If you are friends with your partner you can accomplish so much more. That being said the first person you bump into will be your partner for your next four years here at beacon academy. Any questions?” Ruby tried to open her mouth to speak. “No? Good. Off you go then.” With that all the students were launched into the air. “Look Glynda, they can fly.” He says. His voice heavily laden with sarcasm.

“Indeed.” Glynda replies.
