Don't Mind The Red Eyes

Chapter 1

It was a bright day. I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock. "Agh" I said. It was 6:30 in morning. "Are you awake sweetie?" my mom said as she bursted into my room. "Yes. I want to go back to bed." I said tiredly. "Don't you want to see your friends and your crush?" mom said. "Yeah but I don't want to learn." I said with a sigh. "You need to learn. It helps you get smarter." said mom. "I don't give a damn." I said. "Don't use that tone with me, Keiko." said mom, annoyed. "I'll just get ready I guess." I go to brush my teeth, get dressed, brush my hair, and get my shoes on. I grab my backpack and computer and walk out the door.

It takes me half an hour to walk to school. Yes I walk to school. "Damn this walk seems longer today." Once I get to school, I see my crush right away. His name is Katsuni. He looked at me and smiled. I died inside. My friend Marissa walked up to me. "What the hell is wrong?" she said. I'm dead inside. "Why?" asked Marissa. "My crush smiled at me. I think I will actually die." I replied. "You should go ask him out." suggested Marissa. "Ok............ I'M NERVOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" I said. "Come on just ask him! You know you wanna." Marissa replied. "Ok" I said with a sigh. I walk up to him and say "Hey ummmm....... Wanna go see a movie tonight?" I asked nervously. "Yeah sure." he replied. I walked away happily.

Chapter 2

First period starts and Katsuni sits right next to me. I basically explode. "Everyone, what is the square root of 81?" asked my teacher Mrs. Carrie. "Nine" I said. "This teacher must think we are really damn stupid" I thought. Katsuni was writing something. "Here Keiko. This is for you." said Katsuni, handing me the paper. It was a poem. It said roses are red, violets are blue, I think you are cute, and I love you. "Thanks. I didn't know you had feelings for me." I said. "Yeah. That's why I accepted your offer for movie night." He said with a smile. I thought about how I'm gonna tell him that I'm a.............. Demon.

That night I got ready for the date. I put on a black dress and did my hair. I put on converse cause I'm basic as hell. He picks me up at 5:03. We were going to see the movie The Rude Awakening. After the movie, we went to Pizza Hut. "So ummmmm....... Do you wanna date me?" I asked. "Yes I really like you." Katsuni replied. We get back into his car and........ Kiss. It was kinda nice.

I get home from the date. "Bye love you." I said. "Love you too." Katsuni replied. We hugged and I got out of the car. It was about 11:30pm by the time I got home. Katsuni drove away. "I forgot to give him my number." I thought. "Well I can email it to him." I walked into my house. I got to my room, put my PJ's on and played on my computer. I emailed Katsuni my number. My mom walked in. "Hey honey how was your movie night?" she asked. "Good. The pizza we had was good too." I replied. "Well you should get some rest." said mom. "Why tomorrow is Saturday." I said. Mom just walked out of the room. "Night Keiko love you." She said. "Love you too." I replied. I got a call. "Unknown number? Maybe it's Katsuni." I thought. I answered. "Keiko?" I heard Katsuni's voice through the phone. "Hi Katsuni. What are you up to this late at night?" It was about 12:02 by that time. "I'm about to fall asleep but my phone went off." replied Katsuni. "Well my mom says I need to go to sleep." I said. "Ok goodnight then. Love you." Katsuni replied. "Night love you too." I replied.

Chapter 3

I wake up to the sunrise at about 6:50. "Damn sun." I said tiredly. I went downstairs and got some cereal. I also got some coffee. Something made me mad for some reason. When I get pissed, my eyes turn red because...... you know....... Being a demon....... I'm scared that Katsuni might find out I'm a demon before I can tell him. "I think I should text Marissa and tell her that I'm a demon." I thought. I texted her. "Hey Marissa, ummmm I'm a......... d-demon." She replied with "OMFG I'M FRIENDS WITH A FLIPPING DEMON?!?!?!?!?" I thought she was overreacting with the situation. "Stop overreacting please. I can kill you boi." I replied. She never responded heheh. I heard a knock at my door. I still have my PJ's on. "MOM CAN YOU ANSWER THE DOOR?!?!?!?!?!?!" I yelled. "Ok" she replied. She answers the door and it was the delivery man. I go upstairs and get dressed. I wore a t-shirt with lyrics from my favorite song, "Why are you shaking up my heart?" Yes my favorite song is Boy In Luv by BTS. I had to meet Katsuni at the park that day. Little did I know something would piss me off that day. My natural eye color is grey.

I went to meet Katsuni at the park and I saw a lady leave her little kid to run alone while she took selfies. My eyes turned red and Katsuni saw my eyes. "W-what happened t-to your e-e-eyes?" he asked nervously. "I need to tell you something...... I'm a demon." I said.
