Goodbye

Lilly Mae woke up to the sound of her mother screaming and her father yelling back. She was getting tired of him treating her and her mother this way. She was about to get up and stop them when she heard a gun go off.... And all the screams stopped. She immediately dialed 911 and she hid under her bed. As soon as they got there she was taken away and her father arrested. She kept screaming at the cops where is my mother!!! All they did was look at her with a sorry expression. They drove for about an hour before they dropped her off at a foster care house, now she was freaking out she called her aunt who said she was on her way to get her and not to worry about anything.

Lilly has now been living with her aunt for 6 almost 7 years and she is about to turn 16 she hasn't seen her mother or father since but she did go to her moms funeral and she hasn't spoken to many people and is having trouble talking to people. Now all she wants to do is leave.

2 weeks after her birthday
~Lilly~
I just got a letter in the mail it doesn't say who its from but its addressed to me so, I go to my room and sit down and open it. Its a letter from my dad it says:
Lilly I know you got this and I'm am coming for you. There is nothing you can do about it . your aunt has no clue and if you tell anyone I will kill you. Hope you enjoy your next few days of freedom.
Lilly was now very afraid but she couldn't tell anyone so she did what she has been wanting to do. She packs a bag full of clothes and food grabs a few hundreds from her aunts money stash and her keys to her new truck. She quickly writes a note telling her aunt that she went to the grocery store. (Her aunt is out of town for a few weeks) just enough time to make sure she was far enough away. She jumps in her truck and rips out of the farm drive and down the old back road country music blaring. She's heading to Texas a 3 day trip she had heard of a small town called Big Sandy and that there was a ranch hiring people and she was of legal age to be payed and she was glad.
