Avery Montgomery has had a hard life.
Her parents died when she was six. In a house fire that many say she should have died in too. It's still mystery as to why she didn't.
She had no other family members so she was forced into Foster Care though after a handful of traumatic experiences at the age of twelve Avery was forced to move into an orphanage because let's face it she's an orphan.
The orphanage is home to Avery. It's the only real home she's ever known but when the monthly Adoption Day comes around this one is different.
Avery might get adopted but will the fact that she's a werewolf change her potential parent's minds.

I open my eyes, that I didn't even notice I closed in the first place. It didn't hurt so bad. I've heard rumors that rejection feels like your heartbreaking, your soul splitting in two.
