There was once a boy whose beauty was beyond compare. He loved his reflection more than one should dare. Now this will be where I stop the rhyme in order to share, a tale of the boy whose beauty story is one to scare.

Now this boy loved his reflection so much he would do anything to keep his fair face. One day he heard an old woman spinning a tale to the small children of the town.

"Every soul has a guardian angel, an angel full of beauty and grace. And when you come face to face, you will forget all chaise in order to watch the beauty of this creature whom many hearts will forever chase. Now children as it is said, these angels may grant their soul one wish - even if the body must remain dead." The old woman recited.

Filled with a new desire, the boy ran home to brew over these words. If I capture this angel, I may be able to look as I am forever! He thought full of glee. He spent days preparing a trap, simply caring for nothing else. At long last he finished and truly believed that he was now full of both beauty and wisdom. He sat and waited for his guardian angel, still as a stone.

After many days of waiting at long last he saw the angel come down from heaven, bathing in a pool of golden light. Even the boy who truly believed no one could be more beautiful than he, saw the beauty of this creature of god. The boy rushed out and chained the angel.

"You creature of beauty, you creature of God! I have bound you to this spot, if you wish to leave, first you must grant a wish to me." The boy gloated.

"Chained me thy have. Thus now I am under thy command but grant thy wish I shan't." The angel replied, simply bowing before the boy. The boy was angered and decided to leave the angel chained in his place with neither any food nor water.

Day after day the boy would come and ask of the angel, "You creature of beauty, you creature of God! I have bound you to this spot, if you wish to leave, first you must grant a wish to me." But to no avail as the angel would always reply, "Chained me you have. Now I am under your command, but grant thy wish I shan't."The boy was amazed at the will of this angel but it did not sway his own will the break the angel.

Many months passed and still the boy said, "You creature of beauty, you creature of God! I have bound you to this spot, if you wish to leave, first you must grant a wish to me." And the angel still replied,"Chained me thy have. Thus now I am under thy command but grant thy wish I shan't." The angel still looked more beautiful than a human even though he was weak and frail. It was not the undernourishment that was killing him but remaining upon the surface of the human world for so long.

The angel knew that granting the boys wish would cause the balance to be broken in the human world but he also feared for himself and what may become of him and his master if he was not able to return. The angel thought over this and decided to make a trade with the boy, one he could not agree to.

When the boy came again the next day to say, "You creature of beauty, you creature of God! I have bound you to this spot, if you wish to leave, first you must grant a wish to me." the angel bowed and replied. "Chained me thy have. Thus now I am under your command. I shan't grant thy wish, but I offer a trade, I shall trade eternal beauty in return for thy soul."

The boy so selfish agreed upon this and traded the angel his soul. The angel too weakened, simply departed with the boy's soul to return to his master. The boy well, now he could live forever and remain as beautiful as he was.
