/riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing/
I stopped reading my book as Mrs. Park walked in. After roll call, she started teaching. About 10 minutes after she started teaching, someone came bursting into the classroom. "I'm so sorry, there was a lot of traffic this morning!" a boy managed to say in between pants. "Oh, you must be the new transfer student. Tsk. I'll let you off this time. Next time, I won't let you off as easily. Anyways, go ahead and introduce yourself."
"Annyeonghasayeo, Xiumin innida!" All the girls whispered to each other, talking about how hot and cute the new kid was.
"Mimi, as class president, don't forget to give Mr. Kim a tour of our campus. Also, Mr. Kim, go ahead and sit in the open seat right next to Mimi."
Mrs. Park summarized everything we learned before and then continued our lesson.

"At Empire University (Anyone get the small reference? No? Okay...) the school offers kids delicious lunches from different cultures, so all kids can have something they like," I told Xiumin with a smile. "Go ahead and pick something out to eat. Meet me back at this table in 10 minutes. I'll give you a tour when you are done eating."
"Okay!" he replied. "I'll be back soon!"
I headed off to the Japanese food side of the cafeteria. I quickly grabbed a couple spam misubis before heading back to the table.

"Mimi, thank you so much!"
I checked the time on my phone real quick before saying, "You're welcome, the bell is gonna ring soon. You should go and get your books for your next period." The little munchkin looked really clueless, and he didn't act like a spoiled brat either... I wonder how he got into this school.... (To get in this school, you have to be either rich, or super super smart)
"WAIT!"
"What?"
"Can you please show me where room 12 is?"
" We're in the same class anyway... Where's your locker?"
"Right here!"
"Wow, our lockers are next to each other's too! What a coincidence!"
He smiled and asked, "Could you be the first friend I make here?"
"I'll consider it, because if you haven't noticed yet, I tend to not socialize."

I know sometimes I might seem a little bit cold, but I'm just avoiding what happened to me in the past. Since school finally ended, I pulled out my phone and started chatting with my friends in the US on skype. I find them trustworthy since I grew up with them protecting me (I was the youngest in our group of friends) I was originally born in LA, but when I was in 5th grade, my parents decided to move to South Korea. I'm not even korean, I'm vietnamese, but since I live Korea, I quickly picked up a new language. That means that I can speak korean, vietnamese, and english fluently. I used to have  some best friends over here too, but let's just say something happened between us.

Author's Note:
