Agi's pov
I ran as fast as I could to the girl who screamed every day. I need to help her. Dodging all the scientist and moving the cameras so they didn't see me. I eventually reached her cell. As I walked over there, she stared ate me, wide eyed. "Are you Agi?" she asked with a raspy voice. "yes! now come on!!" I quickly said as I bent the bars. I grabbed her hand and ran. She followed, but slowly. "Hold on." she said, smirking. She grabbed my waist and spread beautiful, gray wings. We started flying. Scientist yelled under us, trying to reach us, but failed. Finally, we made it through the doors. "Freedom!!!!!" I yelled out. She chucked and whispered, "Yes, freedom indeed."
Kiera's pov
"yes, freedom indeed." I whispered while smiling for the first time in years. Agi seemed overly excited for this and I felt the same, just didn't express it as much. I breathed in the fresh air that I haven't smelled since childhood. After a long flight away from the stabbers, Agi was asleep. I slowly landed on the ground. Tall trees towered over us, keeping us out of sight. I found a cave and carried Agi inside, in the corner of the cave. I laid down next to him and I quickly fell asleep. All my dreams were of the future that laid ahead of Agi and me.
