The house looks fine. It's a two-story concrete building strong enough to keep our family from harm, far enough from the past, big enough for our small of a family.

For a 10 years old kid like me, I shoudn't be worrying about these things. Moving to a new house, I should be looking for a house with a wide backyard for a playground, a pool at back to swim around, but unlucky I'm not a normal 10  years old.

After how many hours of travel, arriving to our new home, I enter directly the house, with Michael, and both my parents following after. I took a sneak peek of the place and just note to myself that I'll look for it furtherly tomorrow.

I climbed up the stairs searching for my room defeating Michael to own a better one. I saw a door located at the right side of the second floor. As I opened it, there is an average-sized bed with a night lamp on its' left and a window on its' right. A room in a corner isn't a bad idea at all.

I quickly crashed unto the bed trying to sleep. I admit me, myself is also getting tired, as well as mom and dad but they're never giving up on me. And I salute my family for that.  Anyways, problems can wait tomorrow. For now, I will just be having 9 hours without them. Goodnight!

Morning

The Australian's sunrise have made its' way through the curtains trying to enter my eyes successfully waking me up, with the jetlag still with me.

I looked around with my surroundings forgetting I'm already in our new house. Unlike last night, I'm already having a better view of it with the brightness of the morning. I took a brief shower and proceeded to come downstairs. Mom and dad are already on the kitchen taking sip of their coffees. Where's michael?

Michael is my big brother but unlike other siblings of girl and a boy, we are close. Back to our home at California, we do things together. Eat together. Play together.

After greeting each of my parents a "Good Morning!" I sat at their front facing them after grabbing fresh milk and cereal. I just listened to their conversation as they practically, throw jokes at each other. One the reasons why I so love them. With so much problems the family is currently encountering, we never forget to be happy - a good thing to make us strong.

I never bothered to chime in as much as I wanted to. I'm pretty busy with these milk and cereal inside my mouth.

Dad took a last sip of his coffee after kissing us goodbye to his new job. Because of this problem I am carrying, we need to move and basically, new home means a new occupation to support the family.

I followed dad to the door and watch him enter the car leaving to work. Outside, I saw Michael from our front yard walking to the house next to us with xbox in his hands. The door opened and michael disappeared to the inside.

I'm jealous. Michael already has a new friend. Though, I'm not trying to look for a new friend but what would I do If Michael, my only friend is already out there enjoying with his new one.

I entered the house again and back to my room. I thought of cleaning the room to make it more comfortable as a real home. I placed my clothes in the cabinet and things on the drawer. The room still has no decoration for now. I'll plan to put more decoration on it soon and do the repainting.

As finishing, after I vacuumed the carpet, I have tried to change the curtain of the window on the right side of the bed. Just as after being done, I take a look outside and noticed another window across. I looked deeply and there, I saw Michael and another blond boy sitting like a boss, facing what I assumed is the video game. Just before I can react, I was startled by the knock on the door as mom entered.

"Come, let's go outside." Without waiting me ask why she closed the door again.

So I just stopped what I'm doing and washed my hands flushing away the dust I got with the cleaning. Coming down the stairs, I asked mom, where we are going.

She simply replied, "I will be going to the town just to buy some things." I was confused, I wasn't even dressed. What? I'm shopping with pyjamas?

We continued walking outside but when we turned right and to the house next door, I asked again.

"I thought we were going to buy something?"

Mom didn't respond. We are already on the frontdoor of the house Michael just entered a while ago. After ringing the bell one time, the door opened revealing a woman with a smile and instantly hugging my mom like besties. They did a little talk first and mom mentioned about dropping me just for a while to buy some things on the town.

Mom finally said goodbye and Aunt Liz - as I heard her name in their conversation - held my hand and let me enter the house.

"I'm baking a cookie hun. You wanna just chill in the living room after I cook? Because Luke and Michael are upstairs..." She asked me.

I'm still full. I'm not on my mood of watching t.v. I wanna go see Michael but who the hell is Luke?

"It's okay Aunt Liz. Your cookie sounds delicious but I'm still full. I think I'll just go see Michael." I answered.

"You sure? Okay go. And by the way, Lukes's room is at the left and the door with fake high voltage warning hung." She informed.

"Yeah sure. Thank you." I said lastly and went upstairs to the said room.

I chuckled slightly as I saw the door with fake warning. I opened the door without thinking it isn't Michael's room and he isn't alone there. The two boys instantly stopped their game and turned their head to me.

"Michaaaael!" I looked at Michael and he looked at me back poker. Then turned my gaze to the boy with him with the same facial expression. His blue eyes met my brown one. A moment of silence cause I can't stop looking at it.

I snapped when the two boys started laughing as I realized I'm standing there still with my over-sized t-shirt and spongebob pyjamas on, looking dumb.

Mooooooom! Why'd you drop me heeere?! I totally forgot I'm still on my sleeping garments. Oh God.

They had stopped laughing and Michael spoke up,"By the way, my little sister, Mali. Mali, Luke."

"Hi Luke."

Luke simply nodded.

"Just make yourself comfortable back there Mali. In fact, you already look so much comfy with your outfit today." Michael.

"Shut up! Brother."

I just walked to the bed behind them cause I'm pretty sure I'm red like tomatoes right now. Thanks God they already continued their focus on the tv.

I watched them play from the back of their chairs. When I got tired, I flopped to the bed and just pulled out my phone. What am I going to do now? Just lay here all day?

I was just building my house in minecraft 'till I already got bored. I sat up from the bed and went to sit with the boys, just watching them again.

Michael stood up, "I'm gonna go get a cookie wait for me." Leaving just me and Luke.

I got Michael's place without hesitation and played with Luke. I know Luke is surprised becaise we're not even friends. It was really awkward at first. We played  without saying a word. But then...

Boom! I beat him on the first round and the room was filled with loud shouts. Michael came back with a confused look. We continued playing ignoring Michael at my side pleading to give him the controller again.

"Wait, I'm having fuun!" I whined.

"Yeah! In fact she plays better than you." Luke added. So, we're the besties now? Haha.

Michael just rolled his eyes.

I don't know how but I'm feeling more comfortable with Luke already with just short amount of time. If he's friend with my brother, is he automatically considered as my friend too?
