Ensorcelled Enigma (One direction, Fantasy)

*Too late*

"We are too late.."

      The words rang in my ear as I slammed the door on Zayn's puzzled expression. a muffled "heyy.." sounded through the door only to be ignored.

"What happened?" I asked desperately looking at her face I knew whatever she was going to say wasn't good. I followed her as she whizzed down the stairs.

"It's Tanya.." Her voice shook a bit.

"Ally!!! Tell me what's wrong?" I clutched her shoulders.

"They found her dead in the south corridor." her voice quivered. There was a hesitance in her words as if she did not want to believe them. My mind went blank. Death? I couldn't believe it. Was she the one we were supposed to save? As the question box in my mind spilled with every step I took, we reached at the infirmary. A few students blocked the door. I raised my head to see Darwin's back. His folded hands were in fists as he talked to someone I couldn't see.

"Who is he talking to?" I whispered. Nobody replied. I snapped my eyes to my bestfriend in front of me to find her pushing through the students. I followed her and my eyebrows shot up in confusion as I looked at the person in front of Darwin.

"What..?" I started only to realize that I had said it quite loud. Darwin now stared at me along with the other students and Harry who stood in front of him, sheer panic in his green eyes.

"You need to come with us. Everybody else disperse now!" Darwin ordered. I stepped into the infirmary along with Ally and Harry. Aaron, Louis, Sapphire, Jess already stood there blocking something on the white bed behind them. My heart thumped as I.noticed the bluish hand dangling from underneath the covers.

"How?" The word slipped from my mouth.

"A student found them near the south corridor and reported the incident." Sapphire spoke softly.

"Them?"

"Harry was found next to her lying on the floor. They think.." Sapphire hesitated.

"I didn't do anything." Harry interrupted as anger and frustration was evident in his eyes.

"Your fingerprints were found on the dagger Harry." The principal voiced appearing into the room.

"I didn't kill her! Why would I? She gave me a drink and..and I don't remember anything after that. my sight blurred. I don't know what happened!" He screamed clutching his locks.

"Enough! Tanya's parents will arrive in any moment. I want you kids in my office. We will discuss it over there. Nobody speaks about it outside. We don't want the other kids to consider this institution as unsafe!" Esmerine spoke in a controlled tone.

"Is it?" Aaron asked.

"No, This institution is not an unsafe place and it will never be." Darwin said.

"But the death?" Jess questioned.

"We don't know the reason yet but we will find out. Out! Now!" The bark of order from Darwin was enough for us to rush out.

        Half an hour later the entire group stood in Principal's office. Why all of us? because we had to prove Harry's innocence and for that all the details were needed. They tried to throw us out but we did not budge so finally the headmistress agreed for us to be there.

        The sound of gears brought back my attention and all the heads turned towards the appearing door. A gruff man with a moustache and beard covering half his face entered the room. He was bluish just like Tanya but his eyes were silver unlike Tanya's aqua blue. His skin held a engraving  which I would have mistook as scars if the design wouldn't have been glimmering.
