things start to get complicated

Okay so before I begin the chapter I am thinking of making a new story. A Gray Fullbuster X reader story. If any of you have a suggestion about a story then leave it in the comments.

~(y/n)'s pov~
I was sat in the base by the computers because I had nothing else to do. All I could think of though was what happened to that student and the dog the other day. I mean how many dogs do you know vanish into thin air. 'If it is a fox fire like Naru said it was then why did it attack someone. Fox fires don't harm people. Well I thought they didn't.'

I was then pulled out of my thoughts by Naru and Lin walking into the base. Naru looked like his normal self bored and has something better to do. Saying that Lin has that look as well. Anyway they both walked up to where I was sat and looked at me. Naru then said. "Has anything happened in any of the other rooms while I was gone."
"No nothing happened." I said looking back at the screens.

Naru then leaned over me so that he could get to the rewind button to see if anything did happen. This made me feel extremely uncomfortable because of how close he was. 'If he ends up moving his head we would be close to kissing each other. Please don't walk through that door while we are like this. I am begging you John.' I thought.

Suddenly, the one thing I didn't want to happen happened. No John didn't walk through the door. No, Naru moved so that he was looking at me and started to close the gap between us.

I didn't know what to do so I just sat there confused. I then felt his surprisingly soft lips against mine. My (e/c) eyes opened so wide they could have put saucers to shame. Suddenly coming back into my senses I pulled away as quickly as I could to find that Naru was blushing a bright pink. "What was that for? And what gave you the impression that I wanted someone to kiss me? No what gave you the right to kiss me Naru?" I said really annoyed with Naru.

~John's pov~
I was just heading to the base. When I got there I was really shocked at what I saw. Kazuya kissing (y/n) and it looked like she wasn't expecting it to happen.

I suddenly saw her push Kazuya away and stand up. "What was that for? And what gave you the impression that I wanted someone to kiss me? No what gave you the right to kiss me Naru?" Said (y/n) clearly annoyed with what happened.

I stood there and waited for Kazuya. When there wasn't a reply I was tempted to walk into the room and see if anyone would tell me. As I thought about going in I heard heals hitting the floor coming towards the door.

I looked everywhere and couldn't see anyone. That's when I heard Kazuya ask (y/n) something. "Where do you think you are going (l/n)." "Somewhere you aren't." She replied.

~(y/n)'s pov~
I was walking out of the room when Naru asked we here I was going so I replied with "somewhere you aren't."
This clearly annoyed him because I wouldn't tell him where I was going. Not like he needed to know anyway.

Just as I walked out of the base I noticed John standing outside. 'He must have seen what happened.' I thought. "Hey John. Is everything okay?" I asked.

He looked at me and then looked away. "Can we talk?" He asked me. Of course we can talk. What about?" I asked.
"Not here." Was all he said before he started walking down the hall towards the front of the school.

~time skip at the front of the school~

"What is going on between you and Kazuya?" He asked. 'I knew it.' I thought.
"Nothing. Why?" I asked.
"It was just that I saw him kiss you and o thought there was something going on." John said.
"That kiss you saw between me and Naru was of his doing. I didn't want to kiss him." I said.
"Did you feel like that when I kissed you?" John asked.
"What? No of course not. I wouldn't have kissed back if I didn't want to kiss you." I said.
"So you wouldn't mind if I did this then." John said while leaning in.
"Do wh..." I was cut off by a soft pair of lips hitting mine.

My eyes fluttered closed and our lips started to move in sync with each other. I then felt john's tongue run along my bottom lip.

I willingly opened my mouth and let him explore my mouth. We then fought for dominance, which he won. We then pulled away from each other because my lungs were screaming for air.

I looked at John and he was blushing a bright red and I could feel my cheeks burning as well.

~Naru's pov~
'I can't believe it.' That's all I could think of.

I was stood by one of the windows looking out over the courtyard of the school when I noticed John and (l/n) stood there talking. Then John started to lean and he kissed her.

At first I thought she would push him away like she did with me, but she didn't she kissed back. This made me so angry that I wanted to go down there and break them up, but that would have shown that I was jealous and I didn't want everyone to know so I didn't do anything.

I also noticed while John and (l/n) were kissing Mai was walking up to them with a single (f/f). 'Why would Mai have a single (f/f).' I thought to myself.

I watched as she walked over to the loved up couple making out on the courtyard and handed John the flower. At this point (y/n) was really confused.

'This could be my chance to get her for myself if Mai likes John. It will be plenty of distraction.' I thought, but no I was wrong. Mai didn't like John. She was giving him the (f/f) because he had nowhere else to put it.

~John's pov~
Mai came over and handed me the (f/f) that I asked her to keep hold of. (Y/n) looked at me really confused so I took this as an opportunity.

I looked (y/n) in the eyes and gave her the (f/f). She took the flower and smelt it.

A massive smile then came onto her face and she hugged me. She then pulled away and crashed her lips onto mine. She pulled back and we looked into each others eyes for a while and we started to lean in again and just as our lips made contact Monk and Ayako walked over and cleared their throats.

We pulled away and looked at them. If looks could kill I'm one hundred percent sure (y/n) could kill someone with the look she was giving monk and Ayako. "Sorry to break you lovebirds up, but if you want to make out please do it in a less public place." Monk said.
"Fine." Was all (y/n) said.

We then walked into the school and into the base and I instantly got the feeling that there was tension between me and Kazuya and I'm pretty sure the others got that feeling as well because (y/n) started to look between me and Kazuya nervously.

There is one thing I know for sure is that everything between me and Kazuya and maybe (y/n) is going to become really awkward.
