AVALEIGH, more formally know as Ava, spent the first five years at Hogwarts crushing on James Potter. To be more honest, it was more of an obsession than a crush ━ one that was not appreciated by James at all. He thought of her as the weird, ugly girl that would not leave him alone and that is soon what everyone else thought of her.
So during the summer before their sixth year, Ava learnt how to love herself first and foremost. Her older sister gave her a well-needed makeover and taught her that she didn't need anybody else to love her before she could love herself.
Upon arriving back at Hogwarts after summer, nobody recognised her at first until she opened her mouth ━ spewing random knowledge about her special interests. Now noticing he no longer had a shadow in the form of Ava, James asked around just to be shocked by the complete 360 she did. It was now James' turn to pine after the weird girl because she sure as hell wasn't going to do that anymore . . .
