"I dare you to leave this house. I don't know what you're up to, but I know it has something to do with that boy." My father stated sternly through gritted teeth. I let my eyes burn into his innocently as I took a deep breath. Was he threating me? I furrowed a brow at him.

"What boy?" I cooed, tucking a wavy strand of hair behind my ear.

"Leave this house and I promise you, I will hurt that boy." He stated before walking off. His dress shoes marked the floorboards and the sound echoed throughout the house. I found myself toying with the ring Justin got me and then the bracelet my father gave to me on Thanksgiving. Gulping I felt my heart drop. The glint in my father's eyes told me he wasn't playing at all. Justin meant everything to me and I wouldn't let that boy get hurt for me, ever. I couldn't break a promise, but I also couldn't lose the most important person to me. Although it crushed me, I knew exactly what I had to do.

A few tears rolled down my cheek as the house phone began to ring for the second time. I had turned my phone off so Justin couldn't get in contact with me. Sending him a message and telling him my father essentially threated him, wouldn't do anything. He'd come over here and get me, but I figured if I simply ignored him it would make a difference.

Sniffling I lifted my head and rose from my floor, where I had been sitting on for about fifteen minutes before standing and walking over to my bed where a small suitcase lay and the note Justin had wrote for me.

"Meet me at the train station tonight at 11:00." The paper was creased, but still seemed brand new to me. As if it was yesterday that he had asked me to leave with him. There was less than three days left of school and missing those days didn't count. Justin and I planed to take advantage of that, however my heart was now torn. I couldn't let Justin get hurt. I wouldn't. Covering my mouth I felt more tears run my cheeks. I hadn't heard the phone ring in a long while. I kept imagining it ringing and the thought of actually answering the phone and pleading him to stay away and then suddenly beg him to come anyways consumed me.

Moments had passed and I found myself sitting on the edge of my bed, toying with my hand. I traced over the phrase that started this all, imaging the ink was fresh or even existent to begin with. A small knock interrupted me from trashing Justin's lettering. My lips parted as I noticed Justin staring into my window. I got up hurriedly and stalked over to him with grace. He planted his pal against my window and I found myself doing the same as I took in his face. He looked hurt and tired. His pink lips were slightly parted and his eyes were closed as he took in a chill breath. Slowly, he opened his eyes and simply stared at me, searching for whatever it was that made me change my mind. If only he knew. I found another tear rolling down my cheek. Oddly enough, a small smile framed my face. I should've known better. Justin would come regardless. Whether I warned him or not. He was going to rescue me from something I wouldn't be able to escape for long.

He looked so hurt and I wanted nothing more than to sob as his lips parted furthermore and he became one with the window. My next move was impulsive and not sane, but I unlocked my window. I needed to be near him. I needed to feel him, to breathe the same air as him. I wanted to feel safe and I wanted to let him to feel safe as well. I could see it in his eyes, this was everything, but safe.

"What are you saying?" I questioned as he slipped into the car. Everything happened so fast. Sneaking out of my room, stalking towards his car, sliding into the passengers seat, and having my bag thrown into the back, I never saw any of it coming.

"I'll take my chances; I'll fight for you. Questioning it was never an option." He stated, staring into my eyes, his foot still on the brake.

"As long as you love me." He finished, his eyes still burning into mine. He began to search my eyes for any doubt, but there wasn't any. I had months to think about this and I couldn't find anything within me that disagreed with our arrangement. I was leaving with him.

"Are you sure you really wanna do this?" He questioned anyways. His arms was draped around the headrest of my seat and his attention was on me completely.

"Yeah." I stated honestly as I pressed my lips into a thin line.
