"You want weapons? We're in a library! Books! The best weapons in the world!"

Lilac's P.O.V

My alarm clock was ringing in my ears at 7:30 in the morning. Why do I have to go to work this early? I thought to myself whining.

Isabel and I were both teachers that worked at an elementary school. I was an English teacher and Isabel was a Math teacher. We both had two lives, the Doctor life and our real lives. I honestly liked the Doctor life but, sometimes I do need some alone time.

I got up from bed and freshened up. I went to the kitchen to go eat.

There was a picture frame with all three of us when we visited George Washington, the first president of the United States.  He first got weirded out because he was confused on what a phone was but we explained this whole long story and he believed it.

I always knew from the day we started traveling together that Isabel had something for the Doctor. She always seemed so happy and giggly around him. I wouldn't blame her. The Doctor is the whole package, like I mean the whole package.

I wanted to ask Isabel about it, but I didn't want anything to be awkward between me and her. So I was thinking that I should bring it up with the Doctor. But right now I needed to get to work. I got in my car and started to drive. It was only a 8 minute drive but the traffic in London is horrendous. I got to work and I didn't see Isabel's car.

She probably is still driving or hasn't even woken up yet, I thought to myself. I made my way to my classroom and when I walked in the school there was no one in the school.

That's a bit odd. I said to myself. I went into the office to find no one. My first instinct was to call the Doctor but my second instinct was to investigate. Seconds always the best they say. I checked every where and there wasn't a single person in the school. I got back in my car and drove to Isabel's house.

I got there and I knocked on the door. The door opened, but she didn't open it, the Doctor did.

"Well nice to see you here today isn't it." I said with a smirk on my face.

The Doctors hair was still wet and he only had a towel on. He was getting quite embarrassed. I winked at him and I walked in.

"Doctor there is no one at my school. There are no teachers, no students, no staff." I told him.

"Are you sure Lilac?" "Yes I'm sure Doctor, I'm not stupid. And by the way where is Isabel?"

"She's up stairs getting ready for work." He said back to me.

"Well I don't think she needs to now." I walked up stairs and knocked on her door.

"Come in." She said.

"Oh hello Lilac nice to see you.

I got something important to say to you." Isabel said turning around.

"Yes what is it?" I said back.

"The Doctor and I.. you know had a little fun last night." She said with the biggest smile on her face.

I'm glad to see her happy like this.

"Yes I can tell by his wet hair and towel." I said back laughing.

"I'm happy for you both, I really am." I told her while hugging her.

"Well  there is a problem with our school. No one is in it." I said to her.

"That's weird, wait I got dressed for nothing." She said back with a frown.

"No I think there is something wrong, where could all the students and teachers go?" I said back exiting the room, with Isabel right behind me.

"Doctor where are you?" I said out loud.

"I'm in the kitchen making breakfast." He said back to us.

"Oh my God. No he's going to set something on fire." Isabel said rushing to the kitchen.

"Look I made pancakes and tea." The Doctor said smiling.

"Did you set anything on fire?" I asked.

"No I didn't. I lived for 900 years, by now I think I would learn how to cook." He said back laughing.

"Lets see about that." Isabel said, grabbing a plate with a pancake on it. She put maple syrup on it.

"What did you put in here to make this taste so good." She said with her eyes wide open.

"I used eggs, milk, water, oil, and the powder, thats about it." He replied back.

"No silly I know that but did you add any special space stuff, because this tastes amazing." Isabel said back laughing.

"No, I didn't. You got to learn from the best!" The Doctor said back sticking out his tongue.

"Guys there is an actual problem that we need to go fix and we are eating pancakes." I said finishing up my last bite and the last sip of tea.

"Oh yes the problem. Off to the Tardis we go." The Doctor said, Isabel and I both got up and followed the Doctor. Off we go!
