Murder Case Solved

Chapter One

It was a late Saturday evening and the wind was howling angrily and the rain was pouring down like a never ending dream. " I was so scared i began to tremble", stated Tracy. The ground shook so hard that the house even began to tremble. Tracy took refuge in her kitchen and then suddenly a big bolt of lightning shattered the big window. Distraught and terrified Tracy ran up to her mother room and crawled under the bed hid from the vicious storm. That's when she caught glimpse of a yellow envelope revelled in the dust. It was a map of the house that had an X marked on the attic,Tracy was sparked with curiosity.

Tracy carefully made her way up the staircase and into the attic.The attic was full of dust and had so many old things in ir such as guitars,Furniture and portraits. " It was as if i'd walked into a time capsule",murmured Tracy. With the map sitting tightly in Tracy's hand she began to rummage through the attic.She found nothing! Absolutely nothing! Nothing but dust came out flying at Tracy, irritating her eyes and making her sneeze like a whale.

Frustrated, Tracy thought this was someone's idea of a joke just when she stumbled on a loose floorboard. She lifted the loose the floor board and underneath it was a small blue-velvet box with 3 distinct charms glued on the lid. She opened the box and found old photo's of her mother's childhood. Consequently she was baffled as there was another female standing next to her who looked almost identical. Tracy began questioning her family history, "did I have an aunt that my mother didn't tell me about? If so, where is she now."     

As Tracy was reminiscing about her mother's past, there came another loud bang!! Suddenly pieces of wood came flying past Tracy and the floor started shaking. Struggling to stay on her feet Tracy grabbed the cupboard to remain grounded, but even the furniture was trembling with fear. Books were tumbling down from the bookshelf hitting Tracy like cannons.It was an earthquake, "Panic had overcome me". The storm was raging so loudly, so her screams were made silent. Finally the house stopped shaking however Tracy continued to so in fear she looked around at all the mess around her. Tracy then took the box with her and marched back downstairs to await for her mother's arrival.    

Tracy was sitting in the living room waiting for her mother to arrive back home, and finally an hour later the front door opened and her mother walked in the living room and saw Tracy sitting down. " Thank god you're alright Tracy nothing happened while i was gone right?" stated Tracy's mum, "I'm fine mum healthy as a horse" replied Tracy. 

Tracy's mum sat down next to her and took a deep breath and was about to get up again when Tracy said " mum can i ask you something?", "yeah hunny anything what is it ask away" than Tracy asked her " Mum did you have a twin sister or something?" a deadly silence filled the room, " um no" it sound as a question when she said that Tracy thought. "Oh okay mum just curious that's all thought you had a sister that all". Than Tracy's mum stood up and started to shout, " TRACY I DO NOT HAVE A SISTER STOP ASKING SO MANY QUESTIONS", then a quiet voice said "I'm going upstairs to change and then cook some dinner, go to your room.
