Just one little glance

He could see the oceans in her eyes,
So deep and intense that green blue pattern was
And so very old and wise were the stories that they told

Endless stars and moons staring back at him
Making it overwhelming to know where to begin

He saw the sun in her smile,
The way it leaked happiness and pure joy
How it brightened up his darkest of days

Her hair was made up of precious minerals,
Of gold and copper and rubies
The sorts of things that men only dream of seeing
