The Three Witches

Gyda looked at her sister with disdain as she once again turned the two people who were their only chance of getting all of them to live together in peace like they did at the dawn of time.

"Iyzebel. Why did you do that?" Gyda said bitterly. Why oh why did she have to get their mother's hatred for human. Of all of them She had to get it.

"Because I felt like it." Iyzebel but out.

"Iyzebel," Fiera said in her high pitched voice. "It's been over half a millennia. You can cut the guy a break."

"No. I can't." She bit back.

"Yes, you can." Gyda said.

"Hush it goody two shoes." Iyzebel said.

"You would think that after sixteen hundred years of being stuck in this place you would have thought up a different nickname for her." Fiera sassed.

"Shut up already will you." Gyda said after her two sisters started to make creepy faces and vulgar gestures at each other.

"Why?" They both said in unison, now turning both of their steely glares at their youngest sister.

"Because we don't have separate continents to go to if you two start a fight. Besides there aren't any humans for you to manipulate and trick into your own personal armies." She stated simply with a sigh. The quicker they got those two insufurable kids to fall in love, the quicker they can get out of there the quicker life would get better.

"Ugh. Fine, she is right you know, as alway." Fiera said as she still stared daggers at Iyzebel.

"I don't like it. I just really don't like this."

"Well, hon, it was your kids that got us stuck in here so we can't really blame anyone else." Fiera gabbed at her sister again.

"It was your kids that got us into this mess when they crawled out of that hole that those filthy humans put them in. So technically we can blame you." Iyzebel shot back.

"ENOUGH!!!" Gyda shouted.

Her other two sisters starred up at her with slack jaws. She never raised her voice unless she was actually pissed off. And man was she pissed.

"Can we just stop this please. We are all stuck in this hellish cloud until we get those two to fall for each other. Until then shut your yaps and get along for once." Gyda said. She was just so, so, sooooo, tired of ther bickering. Sure they were sisters, but they got on her nerves so bad sometimes.

"Iyzebel!" Fiera yelled, her face full of fear as their middle sister slowly fed a single strand of glowing green thread of magic into their stone bowl of water that was enchanted to let them see into the world that they left. "What do you think you're doing?"

"I think that I'm shakin' it up in there." Iyzebel said as she shooke her hips. Greed, jealousy, and revenge were all painted on her face in bright colors. "I think that they need a little bit of excitement in there."

"Iyzebel, they just had a fight. I big fight at that, and you want to put more stress of their relationship. They don't need to have to deal with your shinanagins along with everything else that's going on in their lives right now. You should know this you imbisol." Gyda scolded.

Iyzebel held the green thread high above her head as the stout Gyda tried to grab it from her older sister.

"I just want to see if she's the right girl."

"Of course she's the right girl you nincomepoop. We picked her out ourselves." Fiera bit out. She wasn't the brightest witch, but she even knew that Ivy was perfect for Thrain. If he ever got over himself, and if she ever forgave him for kidnapping her from her home. But that was what love did, wasn't it. It forgave you when you do wrong, and makes you think about someone who isn't you.

"Give that to me!" Gyda growled as she jumped up again to tried to take the green thread from Iyzebel, but she fell short and rammed her head into Iyaebel's stomach and Iyzebel fell down taking fiera with her. The three sisters tumbled to the ground in a tangle of limbs and hair.

"Where's the thread?" Gyda asked as she tried to desifer her hand from Fiera's foot through Iyzebel's freakishly long red hair.

"I...I don't know." Iyzebel said.

"What do you mean you don't know where the thread is?" Fiera barked from under Gyda's rear. "And can the owner of this butt get it off of my boob. It's starting to hurt."

The three witches eventually untangled themselves and untangled their hair, before Fiera let out a shriek."It's in the bowl!"

All three sisters stared at the enchanted bowl and watched as the green thread sunk to the bottom, and transformed into a pack of wolves that raced into the woods just outside of the castle grounds.

"This is going to be a long..." Fiera started before Iyzebel slapped her upside the head.

"Don't. Even. Say. It."

"Say what?"

"Now what do we do?" Gyda asked, her normal cheery self left her as she watched their only chance of getting out of their cloud sink to the bottom of the enchanted bowl.

"Now we wait and hope that we didn't skrew it up too bad." Fiera said, her beautiful face was drawn in worry.

For the first time in a long time, the three witches were stunned into silence as they realized that their very existance now lay in the hands of two mortals that they had pointed against each other.
