Amber POV :

I strolled out of the bathroom. My make-up and hair was fully done. I had curled my blonde hair slightly so it looked like natural waves. Andrew was stood there in the same tux he wore the other day when he asked me to accompany him to this wedding. I was wearing the dress I bought with his money yesterday. It was a little tighter than what it was when I tried it on in the store but I'm probably just bloated. I don't know. It'll feel better after a while. He eyed me up and down with his jaw dropped. He then finishes at my face and smiled, holding his arm out for me to take. He looked devine in that suit. It fitted his in-shape body perfectly.  He opened the door and we made our way the the hotel's ballroom where the reunion was being held.

"Are you okay?" He asked when we walked into the elevator. I nodded. Even though it wasn't true. I was definitely not okay. "You sure? You seem a bit, nervous." I looked down at my hand which was shaking violently. I gasped at the sight. I hadn't noticed this until now.

"Well I am about to meet your family. What if they judge me? Or dissaprove of me being with..you." My voice hitched at that last word.

"If they were to dissaprove of you being my girlfriend, which I highly doubt they will, then they'll just have to put up with it. I'm old enough to make my own decision of who I want to be with." He said with a huge grin on his face. I bit my lip to hide a smile. He finally called me his girlfriend. At first I thought I was just his plus one or just his date? No I was more than that. So was he. The elevator door opened at floor 2 and a man in,what I pressumed was, his mid thirties walked in holding a leather breifcase.

"Going down?" He asked, in a very posh accent. Me and Andrew nodded and the man pressed the 'G' button.

On floor 1, the elevator opened and me and Andrew stepped out, leaving the business man in the elevator.

"Seriously Amber, you have nothing to worry about. My family aren't judgemental." He said and gave me a gentle, haste kiss before entering the ballroom. I gasped. The room was large with a huge stage at the back. Tables all shapes and sizes were dotted around the room with gorgous white and silver table clothes coverin them and there was a huge dancefloor in the middle.  We were either early, or everyone else was late. There were one family sat at a table laughing at their two young sons, I assumed, dancing crazily on the dance floor. The woman sat with the family spots us and smiles.

"Andrew! You made it!" And with that, she came running to him and pulled him into a hug then gently kissed his cheek.

"Well I'm not exactly going to miss your wedding am I Georgia? You're my favourite cousin!" Andrew enthusiastically stated. She smiled and turned to me. She hand beautiful, long blonde hair which was wavy. A little like beach waves. Her blonde was different to mine. It was more of a dirty blonde. I smiled at her.

"And you must be Amber? My cousin has been talking none stop about how beautiful and amazing you are. And he's right! You're gorgous! Perfect for my little cousin!" She exasperated. I smiled sweetly and she pulled me into a tight hug. "Would you like a family table or and table for just you two? You're early which means you get to choose." She asked. I openes my mouth the answer but Andrew answered instead.

"Family table. It's a family reunion Georgia. Why would we be isolated from everyone?" Andrew said. I smiled and she guided us to an empty table next to the bar.

"Well, hope you both have fun! Nice seeing you again Andrew and very nice meeting your Miss Amber." She said, smiling. I nodded and she skipped away to go talk to the DJ. She was very perky. Good perky, not bad perky. Andrew turned to me and raised his brow.
