Rose sat behind her desk, staring at her computer. Every now and again hitting the mouse, making the page move down ever so slightly. All the while searching the information that was displayed on the page.

Nothing.

That is what she saw. Nothing just like yesterday, and the day before that, and the previous week. Rose was getting sick of it " it's a buyers marker" Rose said out loud taking her glasses and tossing them on the table knocking down the new set of get well, and my condolences cards that had come in the mail.

Now those were better than the casseroles that the lovely ladies in the cul de sac were bringing her every day. One can only eat a tuna fish casserole for so long . Now Rose thanked them for there kindness but it was an unnecessary. Rose had been in a car accident and was getting a divorce and everyone around her was acting like someone had died.

I mean her heart had died as fast as the lawyers bills had come in. But she had her wonderful daughter to think of, which is why it was so frustrating that she could not find what she was looking for online.

The perfect house for her and Madeline. That is all that she needed in life was whatever was perfect for Madeline.

Rose stood up and went over to her office window staring out into that unfamiliar world, Rose had always hated living here it was to sunny. The people were to happy it was like living in Stepfard.

Everyone just acts so happy, It's kind of sickening Rose thought as she continued to stare out the window Mrs. Moore was outside in her garden planting the new and most expensive flowers she could get. Mrs. Moore's flower garden was the best in the burbs her garden has been rated number one in flowers addict magazine for the last fifteen years. When someone else's garden looks like it could out do her garden in any way something always seems to happen

A stray dog will dig up parts, the plants will mysteriously wither. Just something anything to make sure the Mrs. Moore's garden is still number one. There is a rummer that Mrs. Moore actually killed her husband a few years back because he wanted to rip the garden out to put in a pool for there grandchildren. Three weeks after there argument about the pool, he had a heart attack in his sleep. Rose sighed at the idea and continued looking down the street.

A little ways down the street she could see the Cullinghan's seven children playing and arguing in the front yard while there mother sat on the porch swing with her tablet in her hand. Mrs. Cullinghan was a designer her and her husband moved here when they had there fourth child, for the space they said. Everyone else thinks its for the community outreach program "it takes a village to raise a child" there slogan so basically they are taking an old school meaning to say that the neighbours have the right to discipline your child how they see fit in any situation they are presented. But for the Cullinghan's that is a little more lenient seeng that Mr.. Cullinghan is a lawyer.

But that usually doesn't stop Mr or Mrs. Cullinghan to not discipline someone else's child. Next door to the Cullinghan's were Mr. And Mr. Sanders the Newley weds Kevin is an arketec and Jesus runs a landscaping company, Jesus actually owns the landscaping business that looks after the burbs that they lived in.

Jesus and Kevin moved here so that he could be closer to the main office and as well to see the work of his employees and also the gossip. You can always count on Jesus to either be the head of the gossip or somewhere dead in the middle of the gossip. Kevin is one of the reluctant ones like Rosé and like Mrs. Cunninghan who moved her because of there spouse.

Rose sighed laying her head along the window frame staring up the street. All the women were gathering outside of Mary-Beth's will not all of the women. Ashley Roberta Cassandra Margaret Carol-Ann Veronica and Mary-Beth. The high-society club, the seven riches women in the cul de sac. Of corse it is there husbands money that makes them the richest but never the les the richest.

Rose was the eight member but when the ladies heard that she was getting a divorce the ladies voted to have her removed from the club, it was 6 votes to kick her out. Rose's best friend Carol-Ann tried to help buy informing them that it was not her husbands money that had gotten her into the club to begin with. Rose was a writer that had several best sellers. Seventeen to be exact. Her husband was a bartender.

But the ladies would not allow her to stay, they said that it does not show good family values and good family values were what they were trying to project. Even if the husband cheated on you like Rose's had or Like most of the women in the groups had. But the rest of the group had everything to lose., there money there house and basically there popularity. Not one of the women in the group besides Rosé had even thought about a prenuptial agreement because they had married into money.

Rose had her father to thank for her prenup, seven years ago Rose had met Daniel at university Rose had wanted to be a journalist and travel all over the world until a trip to Mexico made her realize that she couldn't Handel flying very well without being medicated. So she threw herself into every type of writing class that she could take. Daniel was there on a football scholarship taking whatever classes that would make him not lose his scholarship convinced that he would play in the NFL.

They had dated on and off for the first year before getting serious after Daniel had an accident on the field that shattered his knee and tore the ligaments in his shoulders. Taking Daniel out off football and leaving him to drop out of university.

A year latter Daniel had proposed and Rose had already had four best selling novels. Her father was not a fan of Daniel, and was not pleased when Rose said yes and made himself very clear on the matter. If it wasn't for Rose's father she would not have signed that prenup and she would most likely have nothing

Daniel fought with everything that he had not to sign the prenup. Stating that it is a bad way to start a marriage and that she was dooming them. But in the end he signed the papers. And seven years, and seventeen best selling novels later she was divorced and saying thank god.

Daniel on the other hand was trying to convince her that the women was just and old friend and that nothing really happened between them. Even though Rose had walked in on them in her own bed. Yes nothing happened.

That day Rose kicked Daniel out and hasn't looked back. Rose didn't need him she had her daughter to think of after all I mean she doesn't need to be around that.

Rose stopped looking out the window and turned her computer off. She was moving today and promised to take her daughter to the park on last time before they left. It was a beautiful park and Taylor loved the swings.

Ross finished packing up the rest of the books and computer equipment taking all the boxes to the front hallway. That was everything. Her office had been the last room to pack.

The movers were starting to move the boxes out to the Rose picked up the diaper bag from beside the door are walked outside into the fresh air. Taylor was already at the park with carol-Ann's babysitter.

Rose got into her car and slowly pulled out of the yard being careful not to hit one of the movers. As soon as she was on the road away from all the movers she spead off down the street heading in the direction of the park. Her and Taylor would play for a little bit and then they were on there way to start a new life together.

Rose was excited she couldnt wait this was going to be an adventure. One she hoped she would remember for the rest of her life. Her and her Daughter.
