"Dipper?"
"Ugh...What is it Mabel?"
"Can we go exploring today? It's really sunny outside today!"
"Fine, you go and wait downstairs and I'll get dressed and I'll be down in a minute okay?"
"Ok. Don't take long! The sun won't last forever!"Dipper watched as Mabel skipped down the old stairs, the light pouring in the window, alluminating her golden brown hair. He noticed how she was looking much older now and she was growing into a beautiful young woman. She would have no difficulty finding a boyfriend, she just wasn't interested. Her love was for the forest and above all things, animals. She would spend days on end out in the forest and would most days drag him out with her and as much as he would like to deny it, he kind of enjoyed the time with his sister.
Dipper, himself had never even thought of having a girlfriend. He had recently turned fourteen and by then most boys would of had a girlfriend or at least of had a crush on someone, but that had never happened to Dipper. He didn't notice though because he didn't have many other boys to compare himself to."Dipper! C'mon!"
"Coming!" he replied, not realising that he had been daydreaming.
He slipped on his jacket and put on his cap and walked downstairs, grabbing his journal on the way.
"Hey, Grunkle Stan!"
"Good morning Dipper."
"C'mon!" Mabel exclaimed, grabbing Dipper's hand and dragging him out the door.
"So...umm....where are we even going?"
"I don't know. Just into the forest."
"Oh okay."The forest was lit up by a golden ray of sunshine. It was magnificent. Dipper was kind of glad Mabel had dragged him out of bed to see this.
"Let's sit down here!" Mabel said, pointing to a fallen tree trunk.
Dipper sat down, frowning at how uncomfortable it was.
"It'll have to do." Sighed Dipper.
"That's the spirit!" Mabel exclaimed, making Dipper grin a little.
"Ugh. I'm hungry! I didn't get any time to pick anything up on my way out."
"Umm. Let's see here." She said, looking through her bag.
"I've got an apple if you want it."
"Okay, sure. I'll have that." Said Dipper, taking the apple and taking a big bite.
Mabel stretched out and laid down along the length of the fallen tree.
Dipper took out his journal and started to flick through the numerous pages of the book, searching for anything that peaked his interest.Minutes past, when Dipper heard a rustling in the trees surrounding them. At first, he brushed it off as many things lived in the woods and it was fairly safe.
He started to get concerned when it continued and started to get louder.
"Mabel." He whispered.
"Yeah?" She asked, stretching her muscles that were acing from lying in an uncomfortable position for too long.
"Do you hear that?"
"What?"
"The rustling."
"Yeah I do."
Mabel sat up and grasped her bag tightly, getting ready to pull out her grappling hook in case she needed it.
Suddenly, out of the trees came a flash of light.
They both jumped and Dipper fell backwards off the trunk they were sitting on.
"Ow!" Shouted Dipper, rubbing the back of his head.
"What on earth was that?""That was me!"
They glanced over to where the voice had come from.
There, floating, was a golden pyramid shaped thing. It had one eye in the centre and was wearing a top hat."My name is Bill Cipher. What might yours be?"
"My name is Mabel Pines and this is my brother...ugh..."
She gave Dipper a nudge.
"Ugh...Call me Dipper!"Authors notes
