Robin's POV
Everything that goes wrong here is my fault and it truthfully is. Honestly it is odd to be able to command 4 super powered teenagers with just my say so. Yet it is insanely nerve racking. Think about having four lives stuck on your shoulders while also have thousands of people depending on you. The stress will tear me apart one day that it will I just am to stubborn to give up so. Yet with stars arms snaked around my waist on the R-Cycle all my problems seem to melt from my mind. As I pulled my attention back to the road I noticed we were only a block away from the center of Jump. This means I was driving like a maniac. Which would explain why star is hiding behind my cape and has a death grip on my shoulders. Once we get there it takes me a little bit of time to coax her off of the bike and to let go of my shoulder.
Starfire's POV
We walked around the square looking for Slade. There was little talk other then when robin thought he saw Slade, when that happened he only yelled at me for not being fast enough to catch the thing that looked like Slade. I believe Thayer was the stress getting to him. Yet it still hurt. He is so caught up in his work sometimes that it looks like he turned into Slade himself. Suddenly Robin's yells brought me back to my senses.
"Starfire I saw him turn the corner flank him" He yelled
I turned down the alley next to us and flew down it at full speed. As I turned to chase him I saw a flash of electricity and the world went black.
