The figured turmed and gasped, "Aralynn?! Bloody hell, i thought you were home? What are you doing out here?"

"I could ask you the same thing, James." Aralynn stood brushing herself off and picking up her hat.

" I'm a boy, it's different, a girl could get a reputation." He looked at his sister and raised an eyebrow, "Are you wearing my clothes?"

She looked at her brother, a head taller than her with the same coal black hair, and light eyes. Though where his were bright green, hers were a deep honey color, circled with a deep blue. "Angel Eyes" her mother had always called them. "Yes, i had to diguise myself."

Her brother heaved a heavy sigh and grabbed her arm. "You can explain once we get home, Mother will notice us gone."

They walked quietly through the maze of cobblestone streets until they made it to a small building. It was a tenant house. They walked into one of the first floor rooms and sht the door quitely. The fire in the small fire place had died down to calm coals and threw a dim flicker over the pale face of their mother. Aralynn grabbed blanket and tossed it over her small fram and they both dressed for bed.
