It was a rather cloudy day, but the boys insisted on skating. Vanessa decided to tag along and capture a few shots of Justin. She didn't have anything better to do anyways. Her father was in the office once again, dealing with meetings and such. The Holidays didn't let him catch a break. The Holidays didn't provide Vanessa with the most comfort either. Being the only child was rather lonely.

Stalking along the inch of the deck Vanessa began to kneel and explore different angles. He seemed to look good from every angle however. Her iPhone was always on him. Justin had a good habit of singing at the most random times. She wanted to make sure she got it all. She even got a few seconds worth of footage from Khalil.

"Oh my God, Justin! Are you ok?" Vanessa yelled, her eyes widening in concern as she saw Justin's foot hit the very edge of the board harshly causing him to fall. He dropped, hitting the concrete with a thud. Dropping her camera from eye sight, she rushed down to him, sliding down the length of the wall. She ignored the tingling sensation along her thigh. Justin simply groaned before laughing.

"Vanessa, chill. It's normal." Khalil stated and Van sent him daggers before reaching a hand out to help Justin.

"I don't care. That clearly hurt." She noted, her jawline sharp. "Are you okay, baby?" She questioned as she directed her attention back to Justin.

"I'm fine, babe." Justin reassured taking her hand and pulling himself up. He pecked her lips lightly before smiling and pointing at Khalil.

"Thanks for your concern."

"Anytime, bro." Khalil chuckled

"I'm gone for two seconds and Vanessa is actually getting her feet wet." Jaden called, his board one hand and gallon of water in the water. His veins were visible, although a few sips weren't evident anymore; the jug no longer held its original weight. He had teased her about not shredding with them. She wanted to, but she was still cramping and preferred to simply to watch and engage in the little conversations the boys were having. Seeing Justin fall made her question even trying as well.

"You know what." Vanessa sighed, eyeing Jaden who was simply gulping his jug, his eyes still on her.

"Can I try?"

"Woah now. You're not equipped for actually skating. I meant like a little slide or something. A small roll if you will."

"Are you underestimating me?" Vanessa cooed and cocked a brow in Jaden's direction.

"Might be." He joked as he put the bottle cap back on and plopped down beside Khalil

"Do you want me to show you how without actually showing you?" Justin laughed, toying with the deck of his board. Vanessa nodded with a sigh.

"I'm nervous."

"Hey, I will catch you if you fall." Justin cooed as he positioned himself on the board and offered her his hand. Vanessa eyed it for a moment before smiling and accepting it.

"Is this even safe?" She chuckled as she positioned her feet where Justin instructed.

"Probably not." She heard Khalil whisper.

"Like I said, I will catch you if you fall." He reassured. With that, they were off. A small squeal escaped Vanessa's temple and she found herself tightening her grip around Justin's torso. He eyed her briefly before chuckling.

"Oh my! I'm actually doing it. We're doing it!" She giggled. The boys cheered and laughs simply filled the air. Justin and Vanessa went back and forth for a while until they decided to stop. Justin kicked up the board and Vanessa found herself stumping over towards Jaden.

"Ha." Was all she said as she popped her imaginary collar.

"Never do that again." Jaden said, offered a hand to pull her up. Khalil laughed before standing and setting up his board, giving it one last go as a single rain drop greeted his cheek.

"One last go and then we'll all head home. It's starting to rain." Khalil nodded before skating off. Jaden hurriedly set up his board and was off as well; leaving Vanessa on her own with a smug smile on her face, as she watched her favorite boys mess around.

Just a cute little chapter. Essentially a filler.
