Hey guys, here is another chapter, from this chapter 2 down to chapter 5 is what happened before the marriage. I hope you enjoy it.

Alana came from a very wealthy and influential family, apart from the other businesses they own, they also owned a shoe company called "Lana's Comfy Shoes" well it was named after Alana since she was an only child.

She finished high school at the age of seventeen, then she went off to college, after which she went to London for her masters. She just came back from her trip when her parents dropped the bombshell on her. They told her she will be getting married to the son of her father's friend, Liam Trelawney. She couldn't believe what she was hearing, she can't just get married now, and this wasn't how she planned her life. Her parents had done everything for her since she was young and had never asked for anything, but this was too much, and the worst of all, it was to Liam Trelawney. First, his ego was bigger than the size of the earth and the planets put together, second he had girls falling at his feet, so why would her parents want her to get married to someone like that?

"Mum I am not getting married to anyone." Alana said to her mum Melanie.

"Alana, please understand." Her mum replied.

"Understand what? You send me to school and everything and when I'm done you're just going to send me off to marry some guy I hardly know."

"I know...it's just-"

"No mum, you don't know anything.....I mean this is my life and I hardly know this guy."

"Oh come on Alana, he's so cute and I'm going to have really cute grandchildren." Her mother giggled.

"Mum seriously, that guy is an ass." Alana said not finding it funny.

"But you said you hardly know him." Her mother crossed her arms.

"Did I just hear someone say ass?" Alana's father Scott said as he entered the living room.

"Umm....dad, I didn't know you were home." Alana said with a surprised expression.

"Yeah, I just got back a few minutes ago." He sat down and crossed his legs. "But I'm sure I heard someone say ass. What were you ladies talking about?"

"We were talking about a guy during my college days." Alana quickly said. "Umm...he's name was....umm morass so everyone called him ass."

"Why would a parent give their child morass? I mean it's not even a name."

"I don't know, but that's what he's called." Alana replied sitting down across her father.

"So Alana," her mother said going to sit down beside her husband. "Did you ever call him ass?"

Alana scowled at her mother, "No mum, we never spoke so there was no need for me to call him ass."

"Alright enough with this ass talk. Let's go out for dinner tonight...it's on me." Scott said and winked at Melanie.

"Of course it's on you." She replied and rested her head on his shoulder, and then he put his arms around her.

"Okay you guys should really get a room." Alana said trying to hide her smile. "Or better still I'll leave you guys; I'm going to get ready." She went to her room.

"She's all grown up." Melanie said smiling as Alana left the room.

"Yeah, she's our baby." Scott said and kissed her hair. "Have you told her yet?" he asked.
