A/N: Sorry if y'all don't agree with my plot twist ideas, but this is my opinion an' my story, so no hatred please..... :)

Two-Bit's Point of View

Johnny and I watched Ponyboy run off and I shook my head, knowing Darry wouldn't be too happy.

I figured Pony'd be fine though, now that he was at least home.

I glanced at Johnny who pulled his jacket close to him from the cold.

I was shivering myself, but that didn't matter.

"Ya alright Johnnycakes?" I asked, my voice sounding tired.

"Yeah. Why ain't you goin' home?" Johnny asked.

I shrugged, yawning. "I dunno. Jus' figured I'd stay here with you that's all."

"Wha' 'bout your Mother?"

"Eh. She'll be fine; she knows I'm okay." I shrugged it off, though it wasn't exactly true.

I knew I should be home so my mother wouldn't worry 'bout where I was. My mother always worried about where I was if I didn't come home.

She was fine with it as long as I wasn't hurt or nothin', otherwise she didn't care if I spent the night out, s'long as I wasn't gettin' hurt.

I told her countless times not to worry 'bout me, that I was fine and dandy, but she still worries crazy 'bout me.

Kinda like Darry, 'cept nicer.

I just hope she isn't wasting her time staying up and waiting for me because it worries me when she does that and she's gotta go into work tomorrow and she needs all the rest she can get.

I yawned, blinking tiredly.

I almost just wanted to go home and take Johnny with me, since it was freezing as hell outside.

It was cold enough for it be snowing.

I wrapped my jacket around me, cussing out the cold, my teeth chattering.

But I was too tired and still half-asleep to get up and walk to my house so I just closed my eyes.

"Okay man, if you're sure." Came Johnny's answer, followed by a yawn.

"I'm sure; now jus' get to sleep man."

I heard rustling and I peeked an eye open to see Johnny grabbing at some nearby newspapers, throwing them on top of us.

I didn't think they would do much against this sh**** cold, but I wrapped them around myself nonetheless.

"See ya soon Johnnycakes," I yawned, leaning against the mattress and slowly falling asleep.

Johnny didn't say anything but it didn't matter 'cause I was already asleep.

I was halfway through a dream about blondes in bikinis on the beach when there was movement beside us with a loud grunt, startling me awake.

"What?" Johnny asked groggily while I squinted in the dark, suddenly seeing Ponyboy.

"Come on guys, we're runnin' away."

Running away?! What the hell?!

I tensed in shock, opening my mouth to protest but Johnny had already jumped up and was taking off with Pony and I quickly followed, my legs stiff from sleep.

I stumbled behind them, shaking my head to get away from the sleepiness as we ran and ran.

I panted as they came to a stop. I leaned against a parked truck, eyebrows furrowed.
