"Jisoo, speak to me," begged Bobby whilst he drove behind the wheel with Jisoo sat beside him. She had tears streaming down her face and looked as though she was looking at halted, stationary traffic, but was actually consumed by the betrayal she felt, stimulated by her soon to be ex-boyfriend sat next to her.

"What is there to speak about," Jisoo's voice cracked, she hated looking so feeble and weak in front of Bobby.

"What you saw, it was just a misunderstanding. Nothing else, she means nothing to me. You're the only one I want."

"When you act like that Bobby, or when you let other girls get that close to you like that, I don't think you understand how it makes me look, or feel."

"Why are you getting so jealous, it's not like I wanted her near me, she just came next to me and wouldn't let me move," said Bobby, a hint of irritation was evident in his voice caused by both Jisoo and the unmoving traffic.

Jisoo looked directly at Bobby and scoffed in disbelief, "You think this is about me being jealous? This is about your lack of commitment, I feel like I'm the only one putting any real contribution into this relationship."

"I'm not committed? What about you, you think I like it when I see you talking to every guy you come across," Bobby wanted to continue speaking, but the look on Jisoo's face that looked as though he'd stabbed her made him stop. All the words he wanted to say seemed to evaporate. He ran his hands through his hair in frustration. More cars seemed to be queuing up making the array of stationary vehicles all waiting to move more widespread.

"I'm sorry, I went too far," confessed Bobby, "both at the party and just now."

"I don't think I can do this anymore Jiwon," now Bobby was scared. Jisoo never called him Jiwon unless she was genuinely hurt.

"What do you mean?"

"I'm tired of this, the endless fighting. And I know you feel like that too. I think we should spend some time away from each other," Jisoo was about to make her way out of the car to walk through the traffic and onto the footpath but Bobby grabbed hold of her arm.

"Don't get out of the car," he begged with pleading eyes.

Jisoo gently removed her arm from his firm grasp, "Bye Bobby."

Bobby watched as his now ex-girlfriend left his car and watched through his rear-view mirror as she walked further and further away. He angrily pounded his fist against his steering wheel, causing a sharp beep sound to unintentionally join all the other frustrated beeping sounds from vehicles other than than his own. As soon as she was out of sight, the car in front of Bobby moved forward, bringing an end to the delay on the road.

The next day at school was awkward for everybody. For Jisoo's friends and for Bobby's. It felt strange to Jinhwan that Jisoo and Bobby weren't making him want to puke with their loved up display during lunchtime. It felt strange to Rosé to not see Bobby walking up to hers and Jisoo's table just to kiss his girlfriend on her cheek.

Of course, for the rest of the school, Jisoo and Bobby 's breakup was a new source of gossip to spread like wildfire. There were many theories  that students fabricated to explain why their school's star couple had called it quits: some said Jisoo was a cheat, some said Bobby was. Some said Jisoo dumped Bobby, and some said Bobby left Jisoo.

Of course there were also those who were happy at the news of Jisoo and Bobby 's breakup. They'd been at the top for too long, they argued, it was time for a new King and Queen to rule.

Jisoo's red eyes and unkept appearance scared Rosé, and Bobby's lack of banter and constant glum mood worried Jinhwan.

"Jisoo, please cheer up, I hate seeing you like this," pleaded Rosé at Jisoo's locker; her best friend had become a zombie. She was always dazed and she was paler than usual, perhaps due to her multitude crying sessions before she went to sleep.
