Eowyin watched the two moons that orbited her boring planet, smiling brightly as she did so. A grey, three-eyed being crawled up onto the window sill by Eowyin. "Good morning Chesna," the alien girl said, looking down at her foreign pet. On Earth, Chesna would be considered a domestic cat. The "cat" made a slight high-pitched noise, indicating that she heard her owner. Eowyin pat the top of Chesna's head and turned around to face her white, transparent room. There was barely any colors or decorations in the room, as her landlord wanted to make sure that every room looked the same. Although, the girl didn't mind at all. She was happy with at least having a roof over her head, but she still questioned why she couldn't dress it up a little bit. Eowyin walked over to her white, round, dresser and grabbed her usual work clothes. The top was sky blue and the pants were snow white.

Eowyin entered her showering room, quickly dressing into her clothes. It wasn't much, but the girl was used to it. Smiling as bright as the glorbut sun, Eowyin walked over to her small mirror by the front door. She examined herself, staring at her tribal markings on her face. An olive colored hand touched the markings, tracing them with an index finger. They were so different from every other species' markings. She wondered why hers had more color, more of an eccentric personality. Eowyin's eyes shifted over to her jet black hair, watching it flow just by a simple and gentle breeze. After awhile of just staring at her whole being, Eowyin stared directly into her own eyes. They were gold with hints of yellows and greens. It looked like a lion and grass had mixed together into one whole orb. Chesna rubbed her grey body against Eowyin's leg, indicating that the alien girl was late for work. "Oh yeah, work!" Eowyin quickly grabbed her protection jacket and water transport ticket.

It took the girl awhile until she made it to the water transport, but she was glad she made it in time. Eowyin entered the transport station, which was painted white on the inside and out. She smiled a little, seeing as she was the first in line to the transport. She quickly grabbed out her ticket and gave it to the pilot of the transport. Eowyin watched as the pilot ran off to go find his stamp to check her ticket. Her golden eyes looked up at the giant transport known as a UFO on Earth. It was enormous, almost as big as a moon crater. To be exact, moon craters were actually created from transport UFOs. Eowyin's eyes lingered around the empty station, having the feeling that someone/something was watching her. She knew that was absurd, but she couldn't shake the feeling off her shoulders. The pilot came back with a happy grin and gave her card back. Eowyin gave him a polite nod before entering the ship and taking a seat by a window. The inside of the UFO seemed a bit more tinier than the outside, but the girl didn't mind much. The seats in the transport circled around the ship, some were captivated in the middle. The pilot's seat was at the top of the ship, which Eowyin had never seen before. No one had been on the plane, so the alien girl had a bit of time to do whatever she pleased. She decided to lay back in her seat and sleep, as she didn't have much sleep last night from all the nightmares she had. Lately she's been having nightmares, but they weren't like normal nightmares. These nightmares were the same, but each one had more depth and detail in them. Eowyin closed her eyes, feeling herself drift off into a small nap.

                                                                               ---------Nightmare---------

Eowyin's eyes opened and found herself sitting in a puddle of liquid. Darkness surrounded her, giving her a chill down the spine. She gulped, but as she did, her throat hurt. Why did it hurt? The pain went away after that, but it felt dry. Eowyin's heart rate started to go up, noticing there was no noise. Everything around her was completely silent. She quickly got to her feet, but found that there were chains around her feet and wrists. Eowyin pulled them, seeing if she could get loose, but they wouldn't budge. The girl opened her mouth, about to say something, but then quickly closed it. For some reason she couldn't feel her words, a vibration. Nothing had come out of her mouth. Eowyin tried again, but no noise escaped her soar throat. The girl, out of fear, began to pull on her chains again. Each time she pulled, she kept loosing the thought that she would get loose. Drip. Drip. Drip. Something in the darkness had moved, but Eowyin couldn't tell what it was. Swish. Whoosh. There it was again! Hope regained its strength and brought Eowyin's body down to the liquid floor. Her hands lifted up into the air and then harshly dropped back down into the water. She did this for a few times, hoping that whatever was out there would hear her. The noise from the darkness stopped. Eowyin realized this and began to stop splashing the liquid, finding that the hope had lost its strength again. All of a sudden a light from afar had come on and gradually got closer to the girl. Eowyin's eyebrow raised, not knowing what this object was. After a few moments, the light got so close that it started to form into a figure. The figure it turned into was a woman. She had platinum blonde hair with shiny, golden skin. A smug smirk laid upon her lips, giving an eerie vibe. She wore a long, black dress that had a slit on the side. An extremely long, laced trail followed her shoulders. The woman stopped in front of Eowyin and slowly bent down to her level.

"Αντίο," the woman said before grabbing Eowyin's chin and bringing it toward her face. She gave the girl a kiss on the forehead and then harshly let go. The woman gave a devilish smirk and lunged her hand straight into Eowyin's chest. The alien girl's eyes slowly closed, feeling a quick and painful squeeze to her insides. Eowyin's heart stopped beating after a few moments and the woman grabbed it out of her chest. "Checkmate," A raspy, devious voice said.

                                                                          ----------End of Nightmare--------

Eowyin's eyes shot open, her upper body lifting into the air. She was breathing heavily at this point and her hand automatically touched her chest. When everything seemed intact, Eowyin leaned back in her chair. "It was just a dream. Yet, it felt so real...," the alien girl said to herself, looking down at her body. Eowyin breathed in and out before looking around her surroundings. Only a few people were seated in the transport, but it still looked a bit more full than empty. Her eyes scanned every area of the ship, still having the feeling that someone was watching her. No one had been staring at her, so there was no way that anyone could be watching her. Eowyin looked out the window to get her mind off of the dream and the feeling she had. After a few minutes of waiting, Eowyin heard footsteps walking near her seat. The alien girl didn't want to look to see who was there, so she continued watching the sky from the window. A hand grabbed her shoulder, which made Eowyin jump a little. Whispers from unknown voices surrounded her entire being, making her begin to feel anxious. Eowyin slowly turned her head to look at the person who had touched her and noticed it was the pilot. His eyes were a dark grey, not like before. "Beware the night, for when it falls dark, a certain darkness could consume you." His voice had an echo to it, almost like he was being controlled by a slithein. "What are you talking about..?" Eowyin asked the pilot, but before he could answer, he walked off. What did he mean a 'certain darkness' would consume her? Eowyin bit her lip, afraid of what might happen next. Maybe he was just trying to be nice and was saying, in quite a silly way, to be careful. But how did he know that she was locking up the store tonight?

Author's note: I will be making a new chapter soon, but it will be a small preview of the different species I will talk about throughout the story. I want to do this so you don't get confused about what/who I am talking.
