Sparkling clear water glittered from the sun. A gentle breeze made the trees dance quietly. A few fluffy clouds floated lazily across the sky. Dandelion weeds went willingly into the breeze and blew away. Summer was finally here.

Blood red roses grew from the ground and joined the dance of the wind. Lavender bushes stood proudly in the garden, surrounded by orange tiger lilies. The scent of honey sickle wafted through the air.

The grass was long and a perfect shade of green. No patch of brown was visible. I stepped into the grass and sighed. The grass was plush and perfect. I gently sat in the grass with my book.

A while later, a small raindrop plopped onto my book, soaking through the pages. I looked up at the sky. Dark cumulonimbus clouds chased away the blue skies and harmless clouds. More raindrops fell making a twinkling noise on the brook.

Rolls of thunder echoed across the area. The gentle breeze was gone, replaced by frantic gusts that interrupted the flowing dance of the trees. The smell of rain hung in the air. A flash of lightning cut across the sky. Summer was here, and so were the storms.
