Bees buzzing, birds twittering, chimes twinkling. Sounds of spring filled the air. A warm breeze flew around the garden. The brook lapped over the smooth rocks and tripped and fell over pebbles.
A butterfly with gorgeous, vibrant wings flitted through the air among the baby sparrows. Ladybugs crawled on the small buds of flowers and plants. The lavender bush was beginning to bloom with deep purple flowers.
The grass, an astounding emerald green that only spring can produce, was plush and soft. The frozen grass was gone. Trees had started re-growing their leaves. No longer empty and bare, but full of life and happiness.
I sat on the cement bench in the bed of tulips and read my book. A handful of robins bathed themselves in the bird bath a few feet away. Spring was here and all the life that comes with it.
