Thanks so much for reading. Please vote and comment.  Alessa.

My name is Alessandra Loc and I was raised by the church in the town of Hinsdale. I was found on the doorstep on one January morning. I am truly grateful for the sister's who took care of me and the Elder's for the protection from the dangers of the outside world. I have witnessed many great wrongs since living at the church. They have shown me how to truly live and be sent to Heaven by simply following the word of the Elders. They have shown me the way back to him.

I slowly walked down the aisle to the front of the church. I reached the altar and closed my eyes. I took a deep breath and bent down on my knees. I folded my hands together and let out my breath. I began to pray for things beyond my control. I took my time and spoke to him, telling him my dreams and fears. I told him my secrets and my truths. I told him everything just like I did everyday before I headed to school. He is my father and my savior. He will always protect me fore I am his daughter.

I rise from my prayers and begin back down the aisle to start heading to school. I get there on time as usual. I sit down in my assigned seat by the window. I look out the window and look out at the beautiful day. I see a couple of birds chasing each other and a squirrel picking at something on the ground before running back up the tree. I sigh and look back to the front of the classroom as the teacher comes in and starts class. I get out my book and began flipping to find the right page.

The day went on and soon it was time to leave for the day. I gathered my materials and began walking down the hall to the entrance. I almost make it there when My friend comes and stops me in my tracks.

"Hey Alessa, I was wondering if I could walk with you and maybe stay the night tonight?" Kat asked me.

I look at her in surprise and shake my head with a smile. "Of course. The Sister's would love to see you." I told her as I gently took her arm and began walking towards home again. We made it back in a short time just talking and laughing. When we walked through the church was a mad house. I stopped in my tracks to find the sisters running around packing my stuff together. I called out, but no one would answer me. I turned to Kat and said, "Maybe you should go. I don't know what's going on and I think something's happened. Come by this weekend and you can stay the night then." She nodded and left.

I walked to the closest sister and gently pulled her away and asked, "What's going on Sister Rosa?"

"Oh child, you must come quick. We have to get you ready before it's too late. Come now." Sister Rosa replied. She then pulled me too the other sisters and they quickly walked me to the shower rooms.

"Quickly take a shower and then dress in the clothes. You don't have much time so please hurry." Said sister Marie. They left me to shower so I did so quickly. Ten minutes later I was dressed in a black dress and walking back to my room. My clothes and treasures were completely packed in a couple of suitcases. The sisters came in and gathered everything and walked me to the chapel of the church.

When I go there Elder Christian was facing the altar and praying. We waited until he was done to speak. "Elder, we have brought Alessa." Said sister Rosa.

He turned around and nodded. He approached me slowly as he spoke, "My sweet Alessa, I know this all may be very confusing for you. Please understand that we are doing all of this to protect you. Sending you away like this breaks all of our hearts but it must be done. Alessa, someday you will understand everything, but for know always remember this day and what I am about to tell you. Please understand my sweet child." He let out a large breath and began again. "Everything you will witness will be trying and scary but I want you to know how strong you truly are. Alessandra, you are the key to everything. You and your faith are all the strength you need when the time comes when you question everything. You are the power that holds everything together. When this power comes forth, I want you to take it and hold on to it. Never ever let it go. Do you understand child? Never let it go. Let it flow through you and hold on to it. There isn't much time so go child. Go now!"

He yelled for me to go and that scared me. Elder Christian had never raised his voice at me. The sisters quickly took hold of my arms and raced me out the doors and into a car. It wasn't long before the car took off at an alarming speed. I closed my eyes and prayed that everything was going to be okay. Soon the church disappeared from my eyes and I was left all alone.
