Every night my mom and dad would tuck me into bed, and kiss me goodnight. But when I hopped up I would avoid the monster living under my bed. I had never seen him there before, but I still knew he was there. I had never felt him before but I still knew he was going to grasp my leg if I didn't jump on quick enough. I had never heard him before but I still knew he was always singing to himself. One night I decided to stop being afraid of him. "Mom?" I said. "Yah sweetie?" She said.
"Please tell the monster to find another place to live."
"Ok I will." she told me with a hidden smile on her face." Then she lifted up my fuzzy blue blanket and whispered underneath the bed, "Monster please go find another home, Ruby says she doesn't want you to live there anymore." I waited for a long time for the monster to go find another home. As I got older the monster crept out from under my bed and into my head, and I realized he lived in my head the whole time. I named him, Imagination and he seemed to never go away after that.
