Natsu's POV-
I sighed, looking out the window of my apartment. The TV was to my left, talking about the annual Five Days Tournament. I took another bite out of my fire. My older brother Zeref and his girlfriend Mavis were on the couch, watching the announcements.
"And it is now time for the Selection. There are many people chosen from all around Fiore, and there are the teams being paired up." She went on for a long list of names.
"Hey little bro, did you sign up?" Zeref looked at me. I sweatdropped, he would kill me if I did.
"And finally, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfillia. That is all. The 16 participants will have a Tournament Official pick them up tomorrow morning. Good luck and may the odds be ever in your favor." (I had to. It was too tempting.)
"Uhh...Zeref I can explain!"
"Zerey, don't be too hard on him, because Natsu's going to win. He is related to you after all." She smiled, her green eyes sparkling.
"I cant argue with you, Mae. Fine." He frowned at me. "You just need to win. I want to see you after this silly thing."
"I'm all fired up!" My blue exceed, Happy, woke up and mumbled "Aye Sir...I wanna sleep..." I smiled and headed towards my room, and regretted my life decisions.
"Why the heck did I sign up for this death trap?"

Lucy's POV-
I was sitting on my bed, watching the Selection on my TV. My light pink bedspread matched my room, the cream walls, the fancy rug, the chair near my bookcase, and the door to my walk-in closet. Loke Lionspirit, Aries Bullstar, and Levy McGarden, my close friends sat on my bed with me.
"I wonder who got picked." I asked.
"Did you sign up?" Levy asked.
"Yeah, it was a dare and it's just for fun, not like I'm gonna be picked. You?"
"Same."
"I have to agree with Levy." Loke said.
"For our fought group we have Gajeel Redfox and Levy McGarden!"
"Shiiiiit." She broke out into a sweat. "I never thought I would be picked.
"For our seventh group we have Loke Lionspirit and Aries Bullstar!"
I heard the phone ringing. Oh, the luxuries of upper class. Aries went there, and I heard yelling and a lot of "I'm sorry!" Probably her older brothers, Taurus and Capricorn.
"And for our final contestants, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfillia." I blinked, once, twice, and fell back onto the bed, my loud thud blocking any noise from the television.
"I'm screwed."
"I'm screwed too."
"Me too."
"We're all screwed."
I sighed.
"Why the hell did we sign up for this?" We all asked eachother.

Gray's POV-
After hearing mine, Natsu's, Erza's and Natsu's little cousin Wendy's name, I freaked out.
"Why the hell did this happen?" I sighed. "I'm calling Natsu." I walked over to the one phone I had at my place and dialed Natsu's number.
"Why the hell did you sign up for this, flame brain?"
"The same reason you did, stripper! I want to win!"
"Anyway, did you call Wendy yet?"
"Nope."
"You should." I sighed, thinking of Natsu's little blue-haired cousin out on the arena. I'm scared that she'll be the first one to go.
"Kay. Bye." He hung up on me, and I sat there. I looked at Erza. Being a strong Requip Mage, she would probably be one of the last ones there. I decided to start packing.
"Gray, your clothes." Erza lectured me, with her mouth full of cake. She never changes...
"I can't help it! It's how I was raised!" I thought of my mother Ur, and my brother Lyon, who as far as I know, are both dead. I grabbed my clothes and started to put my shirt back on.
"Why did you sign up anyway, Erza."
"I got free cake."
"You're an idiot, Erza."
"I can't wait to kill you in the arena."
"I'm going to my room." I sat on my bed, watching as the rain started to fall. I sighed.
"I really am stupid."

And that was chapter 1! I'm not going to do everyone's point of view, cuz that's too exhausting. Also, I'm having a vote! Vote on your favorite ship, and if they get the most total votes, they'll be in the top 3, and maybe win!
