And she fell. She could tell. Her everyday life was being affected. She could tell she was falling for the boy. The boy she knew she could never have a chance with. The boy knew she couldn't like.
She began to distance herself from everything. All she could think about was him. It didn't help any of her friends understood. They began to keep things from her, and she knew they were. There was something but one would tell her.
Late that Friday night, she had just gotten home from the theater. They had a great rehearsal, and the show was to start in 2 weeks. With the first show being so close, she would be getting home late every night.
To her, that was life.

'Maybe it is your choice tho'
What are you talking about lorrie? I ask myself as I read the cryptic text message.
In an attempt to move on from the subject, I ask about her basketball 'practice'- or as she calls it, 'open gym.'
'Changing the subject much Silvia'
It's been such a long week, and at this point- I was done.
I respond, typing out a pissed off paragraph.
Maybe I am changing the subject. It's all the more we talk about and it's annoying. I hate talking about this, all it does is crush me and you know that. I'm tired of the lies and I'm tired of this. I just got home from a good day of rehearsal and this is what I come home to do? No thanks. Goodnight Lorrie
I end to there and hit send. From there, I decided to shut my iPhone 6s off. The only way to avoid this was to shut down any forms of communications.

She was furious. Not only that, she was tired of it. All she really wanted to do was move on with life and forget about the boy. Although, that seems to be a struggle when you have theater rehearsal with him every day.

When she woke up, she reached for her phone. Every morning, she would hit the home button and wait for her phone to recognize her fingerprint. This morning, she awoke to something different than usual.

'Why the hell is my...' I think.
"Oh shit." The memories of last night flood my mind. Everything rushes into my mind, memories I wish weren't memories.
I drop my phone back onto the top right corner of my bed. Leaving it there, I roll over a couple times till my body is laying against the wall to my left. I take the tangled mess of blankets and attempt to cover the majority of my body.

All she wanted to do was shut everything out at this point. She was afraid to turn her phone back on. She didn't want to see her friends response, knowing it could only end in disaster. Not only was she pissed, her friend would be pissed now also.

"Silvia, have you fed your guinea pig this morning yet? I know you had a long night last night but it's 9 already and Bernie hasn't had anything to eat!" My mother comes flying into my room, causing the school papers on my desk to fly about. It's too early to be getting yelled at.
"Yes mom, I'll be right out." I half mumble. Wonder if she could actually understand what I just said.
"Hurry up, Bernie's been running about his cage like crazy all morning." She lectures some more.
