Chapter 6 NEW YORK

"Ahhhh it feels so good to stretch after such a long flight, right Haji-chan?" Oikawa said winking at Hajime, who was CLEARLY flustered by his boyfriends new nickname for him. "U-uh y-yeah I guess." Hajime muttered. "Alright, so unfortunately I don't exactly have a plan... I guess we will take a taxi to a hotel?" Hajime continued. "Alright sounds good. Lets go get our suitcases," Oikawa said as he looked for baggage claim, "Oh there it is! Finally my years of English class pay off! " After getting their luggage they headed outside to call a taxi. A couple of minutes later they were in a taxi trying to figure out where exactly they were headed. "I guess to the nearest hotel or motel in NYC." Hajime said intertwining his and Tooru's fingers, he then picked Tooru's hand up and kissed it lightly. "Thank you for running away with me. It means a lot." He whispered. "Iwa-chan I would follow you to hell and back to be with you." He responded. Without thinking Hajime gave him a peck on the lips. "Alright we're here. It will be $29" (sorry I don't know if that's reasonable I've never been in a taxi) "Thank you again sir, have a nice night" the two said getting their stuff and paying the man. "You too, young love is a beautiful thing." The taxi driver flashed them a knowing smile before driving away, leaving the couple flustered. Wordlessly the flustered couple walked into the lobby. "Good evening may I help you?" The desk lady asked. "Yes we would like a room, for two or three nights." "Two beds?" "No one is fine." The desk lady seemed a little surprised, "Oh Oh Oh! Sorry! Your room is 613 it will be around $700 a night. But we don't get many customers so it's only $500 a night! Enjoy your stay." She said handing the two key cards over."thanks again miss!" Tooru thanked her.  "No problem the elevator is over there." She said pointing to the elevators next to the staircase.

Once they got to the room Hajime suggested "Alright, how about we get some rest and then check out the city tomorrow?" He saw the panic and fear in his lover's eyes when he said rest. "It's alright I'm right here, relax nothing will hurt you." He said slowly bring his lover into an embrace. Oikawa nodded slightly, "Ill try." He said meekly. " That's all I ask, just try your best, I'm right here." Hajime whispered soothingly. "Do you wanna get in your pajamas or are you too tired?"Hajime asked, " Lets just try to sleep," "okay"

They climbed into the bed and flipped thorough the channels trying to find something interesting. "Lets watch the news!" Unable to say no, he agreed and turned it on. Oikawa was drifting in and out of sleep, which was surprising because usually he's wide awake, he must really really tired. Hajime kissed his forehead and whispered, "Is it too early to say I love you?"
