I groaned when I heard my alarm blare out telling me to wake up because it was school I rolled to the side of my bed hearing my favourite tune. I snuggled deeper into my pillow smiling but my alarm wasn't having any of it when Beyoncé's pitch perfect chorus came loudly.

"Got me looking so crazy right now" I mumbled along sitting up with a lazy smile on my face.

I got off my bed stretching while still half singing along.

"Got me hoping you'll save me right now, looking so crazy in love's, got me looking, got me looking so crazy in love." I did a mini dance smiling before leaning over and turning it off so I don't disturb the other three members of my oh so lovely family.

I turned around and tied my hair in a messy bun fangirling over my legend.

Doesn't Beyoncé get you up in a good mood? Gosh I love her.

I walked over to the bathroom and did my usual morning routine and I brushed my teeth and splashed my face with cold water to wake myself up more and I dried my face afterwards.

I walked back into my bedroom and opened my wardrobe to see what I can wear today and I picked out a beautiful outfit that screamed me:

I smiled when I looked at my reflection. I didn't look too bad. I left my hair in its usual brown curls and secured the front with a loose braid which I fastened with a small butterfly clip and sprayed myself all over with my favourite Beyoncé perfume. Perfect.

I put my brown sandals on and grabbed my backpack as I made my way to the kitchen.

"Hey peaches and everyone," I greeted as I skipped to sit beside Maya when I spotted her at the dining table and she turned sideways and gave me a big grin. My mom placed some bowls down and I quickly grabbed one and poured some cereal then milk. We all ate our breakfast with occasional talks here and there as I smiled.

"How's that pet thing going?" I asked Maya as we walked into school. I briefly remembered that she has been begging for as long as I can remember for an actual pet for her birthday and it seems that nowadays she's trying to put that plan into action.

"It's sort of coming together," Maya nodded smiling cheerily when we stopped in front of my lockers. "A cat doesn't sound too bad. Maybe.. Even a snake sounds awesome," Maya's eyes lit up as she smiled mischievously as I widened my eyes and got my books out of my locker for our first lesson.
