I walked to the stables, Finn was just being walked to his stall, gleaming as usual. I was itching to ride him, but my father had taught me at a young age that all new horses needed a chance to settle in. I sighed and watched Finn lower his head to eats dome of the fresh hay that was prepared for him.

"Hey, boy." I whispered softly.

Finn raised his head and walked over to the stall door so I could rub his soft head. I rubbed his soft muzzle and forelock. I unlocked the door and went inside his stall. It was much more clean than the one he was living in. I checked his teeth, he looked about 10, that is not a bad age for a horse. He was quiet gentle, and let me rub him. I waved over one of the stable boys, and asked him to bring me a grooming brush. He bowed and shortly returned with some brushes.

"Thank you."

"Of course, your Royal Highness."

I picked up and brush a started to groom Finn. Barely any dust came off him, but I enjoyed running the brush through his coat. He did not seem to mind either and continued to eat the hay the laid on the bottom of the stall. He snorted when I brushed his back and stretched out so I could rub it more. I laughed and took a large about of time scratching and brushing his back. I did the other side of him, and soon was gleaming. I looked at his hoofs they looked kinda clean, but I did not want to risk getting the dirt on my dress. I had the stable boy take back the brushes, and I scratched Finns back before leaving. He nickered a 'good bye.' I turned around, no other horse had done that before. I smiled leaving the barn. I walked up the stairs to my room that I shared with my husband.

"Hugo? Are you in here? I am back." I called, no reply.

"He must be Library," I thought walking over to the Library, the Royal Faimily Lived in The East Wing so the Library was a little bit of a walk, but I did not mind. I passed the south wing, and the was greeted by the large walnut doors that the Libary hide behind. The foot men open the doors as I drew close and bowed. I nodded and walked in. There I found Hugo in a oversized chair reading a big red book.

I rolled my eyes "Hello? Is my husband listening?"

He looked up, "Oh, sorry Ellie, I did not hear you come in."

"Obviously.  Do you want to put your book down and see my new stallion?"

"Um, well, sure I guess." Hugo said reluctantly putting down the book he was reading, and folded a corner.

He held out his arm, and I looped mine in it, and we walked to the stables.
