Trapped

Chapter 1-

I'm just an average 16 year old named Kyle. I'm skinny, tall, and I have brown, longish hair. I have 3 siblings in my family. A 15 year old sister named Whitney, A younger brother named Thatcher, and a little sister named Megan. My mom and dad are throwing this big party with all the people from their work tomorrow and they want to have this big talk that we have all heard millions of times that If we mess their party up we will be grounded for like a week. I'm the "trouble maker" in the family. I get bad grades, never do my homework, get detentions, and not to mention all the things I do to my sisters. So yeah back to the party... my family have to go to Market Plaza to buy all the things for the party. So our mom and dad dragged us to the store. I jumped in the car and put my IPod in because I really didn't need to hear about how my brothers minecraft needs more money on it. It was a strange color outside and it was down poring. I put my sweatshirt hood up and ran inside with my family. Once we get in I noticed that my converse were soaked. I sighed because I didn't remember before we left the house that I had a small hole in the bottom of them and I wasn't going to wear them anymore. Whitney goes right over to the makeup section of the store and my little brother starts talking to me and asking me if I could buy him a thing of Axe and some hair gel but of corse I said no. He's 14 I mean he could buy himself some himself but he doesn't. My mom asked me to go get some pretty paper plates and a litter bottle of Sprite for the party down at the other end of the store. I start walking and right when I turn into the isle the lights go out in the store. It was silent. The music stopped. I stopped and waited for the generator to kick in. It took about five seconds to kick on. I just started walking again and I grabbed a package of these floral printed plates and got a sprite. I went back to my family and place the items in the carriage. I picked up my little sister and asked her what she thought of the rain. She laughed and said "I don't like rain at all. Do you like the rain?" I said " ha, no I don't meg... Especially when my shoes get wet." She laughed again and said "see Kyle!" Kicking up her foot so I could see It. "I wear my rain boots in the rain!" She has pink polka doted rain boot and I said to her "well see meg, I don't think the pink polka dots would look good on me..." She started laughing and said "You would look funny in them cause they're girl shoes!" " Haha I know meg" I said.

The next thing I know the ground started to rumble and things started to fall off the shelves. Meg tightened her grip on my shirt. I told her it was alright. Everyone stopped moving in the store and was looking around. I looked at my mom. She had a worried look on her face. There was a really bright light outside that made everyone squint. The ground started to shake more and more by the second. Then there was this crazy loud screeching sound that was so loud that I had to put meg down and cover my ears. Everyone was freaking out some people where even on the floor kneeling it was shaking so much. Then it stopped. Dead stop. Everything went silent. No one said a word until a man said "What the heck was that?!?!" A man came out behind a cash register and asked if everyone was okay. I asked if Megan was okay and she started to cry. I picked her up again. People stated to look outside to see what it was. People started to say they they thought we were under attack, and that a transformer blew up. A muscular man that looked like he has been in a million fights walked over to the door to see what was going on. He grabbed the handle to open the door but it didn't budge. He shook it hard but nothing happend. He looked imbarrest and a few guys came over to help him but no luck... One man pointed out that it looked welded shut. The manager of the store said that he checked all the back doors and all the windows. They were welded shut too... We were Trapped.
