Chapter 38 ~ I need her

~ Melisa's POV ~

Kyle opened the door to a long hallway. We walked through it, the hallway was dark, but some candles gave us a bit light.

"Why is it so dark here?" I saw Kyle give me a quick look, "you'll find out later"

We reached a door with a black and gold doorknob, Kyle gave the door three hard knocks and the doors opened, I saw two muscular men open the doors from the inside. I looked away from the two men and saw three people sitting behind a high table, like those ones you have in court.

Their eyes glowed Red and Gold, I could see it from here. We slowly came to a stop as we were five meters away from them.

Kyle told me to bow down when we saw these people before we entered this place. So Kyle and I both bowed down and we saw the woman in the middle nod.

We both stood up straight, the woman and two men all looked at me.

"Hello Miss Cole."

I bowed my head down, "Alpha."

The man on the left pressed on a button and a screen popped up with all of my information written on it, "We have all of your information on here, as well as when you've turned and what your powers are."

The woman stood up and walked towards me. She looked into my eyes and the red and gold color turned to black.

I got to admit, that scared the shit out of me.

Her eyes turned back to red and gold after five seconds and I gulped when she look a step closer.

"Our computer wasn't wrong gentlemen, she has the power."

I saw the two men look at each other and then at me.

"Has Mr. Knight told you why you're here and how long you will stay?" The woman asked me and looked behind me.

"Yes he did, Alpha." I said trying to look down and not into her eyes.

"Your power is dangerous if it's not used by the right person, we need to train and protect you from any other creature that wants to steal your power from you." One of the men said and I nodded.

"Why is it dangerous? And why would someone want to steal it from me?" I looked up, but no answer.

"Mr. Knight is going to show you around and he is going to stay with you, you are his Alpha now." The woman said and Kyle walked up to me and bowed down.

I nodded for him to stand up and he did.

"Oh and I am Alpha Lykos, the Alpha on the right is Alpha Greyhound and on the left is Alpha Holden." I nodded. Kyle motioned me to walk after him. So I did.

I stopped walking when I heard a howl it lasted for ten seconds, "Did you hear that?"

Kyle turned around and gave me an confused look and shook his head.

I shook it off and walked further.

~ Justin's POV ~

"I know that I need to give Melisa some space but I can't do this anymore."

I stood up from the couch and walked away fast not wanting anyone to stop me.
