More than black & white

There are many things you can be in this crazy world we live in.

You could be girly and love all the glitter, frills and bows.
You could be down to earth and be honest and direct.
Or you could be different and unique and be criticized and put down for stepping out of the norm.
You could have a different past and trials from most and not be understood by them.

There are so many different things we could be at once.
So many stereo types and classifications and titles are in this world.

One could be a biker,
Teacher,
Dreamer,
Fighter,
Singer,
City,
Country,
Fake,
Real,
Athletic,
Artistic,
Nerd,
Geek,
Jock,
Cheerleader,
The list goes on and on...

It's a wonder how anyone can classify themselves in just one.

I know I can't.

I'm crazy,
Weird,
Silent when I'm supposed to be saying something,
Loud when it's not needed.
I'm country strong.
Family is everything, if help is needed, you better get out there and do it. It doesn't matter if it's the middle of summer and you have to spend the whole day cutting, bailing, and picking up hay bales when all you want to do is hang out at the pool with your friends or go spend the day at the lake.
I'm a geek,
Nerd,
And cheerleader all in one.
I grew up on Star Wars, Star Trek, Godzilla, Winnie the Pooh and Disney.
I'm captain of my cheer squad.
I'm someone not to mess with.
I'm determined to do whatever I set out to do.
I shoot archery, and guns. Both fairly well.
I hunt.
I look good in camo.
I hate skirts and dresses.
I own a motorcycle and a license to drive it.
I constantly ask to drive my dad's '69 Pontiac Firebird.
I love muscle cars and newer sports cars.
I'm not good at fishing.
Photography is my passion.
Music is my life.
I love to read.
I am a state runner up in my weight class for overall score and highest bench press in powerlifting.

There is so much to just one person. How can we try to classify them in one area? Just my description alone cover at least 5 or 6. And that's not even all of it! Too many people try to fit themselves and others into this tiny 1 dimensional, black and white box by trying to say "I'm this. No more, no less."
But that couldn't be any farther from the truth. This amazing, crazy world we are in is filled with color a dimension. Nothing is hardly this or that. Sure, you can grab some random cat and say "this is a cat". But then you would miss what makes the cat different and unique. You might miss the scar it has from trying to survive when it was young, or the type of cat it is, or if it has a shy or outgoing personality.

There is so much more than black and white. To live in a straight forward, 1 dimension world would be horrible. We wouldn't have art or music or any personality. It would all be, "you are this and this only. Don't fight or try to deviate from this definition of your life." From this you wouldn't have choice to change anything.

Don't put people in black and white boxes.
Don't be put in a black and white box.
There is more to life than that.
