Im stood at the back behind everyone at the graveyard. Im crying just looking at her closed coffin but then someone behind me taps me on my shoulder. I wipe my tears away before I turn around.

"Are you crying mister?" a little girl around 6 years old wearing a pretty black princess dress with blonde pigtails questioned.

I nodded.

"Don't cry mister, Maddy wouldn't want that, she always told me never to cry because it broke her heart." She said I could feel tears flowing down my face again, just her name made me cry and it hurt.

"How did you know Maddy?" It pained me to talk about her in past tense.

"She babyset me." She answered with a toothy smile which made me smile too.
"Are you her friend?" She questions

" Sort off but can you keep a secret?" She nodded.

I move closer to her ear and whisper " I loved her but I made a big mistake and she hates me."

"Maddy would never hate anyone. She loved everyone." She looked at me with wide blue eyes. It appeared as if this little girl loved Maddy like an older sister.

"I'm not sure I never said sorry to her after I hurt her."

"It's okay mister, she forgives you."

"How do you know that?"

"I just do okay."

"Amber , sweetie where are you?" A lady dressed in black with dyed blue hair whispered  looking everywhere frantically.

"Here mommy, I'm talking to my new friend."

The mother sighed when she saw the little girl, she made her way to us and I quickly wiped my eyes to get ride of my tears.

"Don't run of like that Amber, you had me worried." She says before picking up Amber and looking my way

"Sorry mommy but I made a new friend." Amber says as she points at me.

"Hi Im Chelsea , Amber's mother ." She held out her hand

I slowly hold my hand out until I'm shaking her hand

"I'm Bradley Thompson and I guess I'm Amber's friend."  I answered

"Don't worry about it Amber is a runner just like ..." I know instantly who she means.  Maddy would always be the first person to run somewhere. She would run with her long ponytail swaying behind her , clutching her fist together to gain momentum.

"Yeah she is like her ." I answered back.

"Anyway I gotta go back to my husband. Bye Bradley."

After they leave I finally manage to stop crying because of what Amber said. Maddy never cried after we beat her so I shouldn't when it's her funeral.
It's as if Maddy sent an angel to stop me from crying and it worked.
