One by one the members all got pulled into a room together. The room was empty and white, leaving the boys confused as to what was supposed to go down in here.
When the boys were released they each ran to their partner, some being pulled into tight hugs while some instantly went to yelling at each other.
"JENO YOU LEFT ME FOR DEAD!"
Jeno rolled his eyes and pointed to his drenched clothes. "LISTEN JAEMIN I WENT THROUGH HELL TRYING TO SAVE YOU! GET OUT OF MY FACE WHEN YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT I WENT THROUGH!"
"OH WHAT YOU WENT THROUGH!? I SAT FOR 30 MINUTES STRAIGHT WORRIED!"

A few feet over Ten and Johnny met up. As Ten tried to hug Johnny, he pushed him back and crossed his arms.
"How come you couldn't save me!?"
"They hooked me up to a lie detector test!"
Johnny nodded, mumbled "I understand" and brought Ten into a tight hug.
"They asked me a question about if I only love you-"
"Don't even bring it up."

WinWin broke into tears as he ran into Kun's arms. He felt horrible that he didn't win his challenge. All his emotions poured out in choked sobs as Kun ran his fingers through WinWin's hair soothingly.
"It's okay. Don't cry Sicheng. I'm here now. I'm here..."

Yuta wearily walked up to Hansol, his face still dripping sweat. Hansol wanted to touch him but his anger stopped him from doing so.
"Why are you sweaty?"
"Are you dumb or did I hear wrong? I know you did not just ask me why I'm sweating."
Hansol cleared his throat and awkwardly put his hands in his pockets.
"Did you... try that hard for me?"
Yuta went to be his sarcastic self but dropped it and merely nodded. Hansol muttered an "oh" and that was the end of their conversation.

The second Mark made eye contact with Donghyuck he ran up to him. Donghyuck looked down at the floor in shame causing Mark to set his hand on his shoulder.
"Hey, look at me."
"No. I failed. I tried so hard Mark. I was too dumb to save you. I'm so sorry!"
"Baby look at me." Donghyuck slowly lifted his head. "The fact that you tried is all that matters to me. I still love you, okay?"
"I-I... I love you too."

"Jae did they hurt you? Are you okay? Fuck, I'm so sorry." Taeyong rambled as he checked every spot on Jaehyun's arms and face for damages.
"N-No. They didn't touch me." Taeyong breathed out a sigh of relief and smiled.
"I'm so happy you're okay."
"You couldn't save me."
"They asked me questions all about your life and I couldn't answer a question about what time you knew you were gay."
"8:29 pm." Jaehyun deadpanned. Taeyong didn't know how to react to Jae's answer.
How the hell does he remember that?
"Noted."

Once all the bickering and tears stopped the door opened and in came 3 familiar figures. Doyoung, Taeil and Jisung clapped as they stood in front of the others. Nearly everyone's jaw dropped at the sight.
"Welcome to the start of the NCT Mini Games!" Doyoung informed. When no one replied he turned to Taeil to take over.
"This was planned by Doyoung and Sooman himself. When he left this morning it was to get everything set up. Jisung and I left the chat room once we got a text saying it was clear. The masked members that watched over you and brought you here are no other than Exo!"
Each man took off their mask, it was indeed the members of Exo.
"Baekhyun hyung what happened to you?" Jisung questioned as Baekhyun scrunched his face up in pain.
"Yuta got real angry."
"Anyways, I had the chatroom hacked to scare you all which worked. Wah, I'm so proud of myself for creating this!" Doyoung gave himself a pat on the back.
"Don't worry everyone! The other challenges are nothing like this. They're actually fun and not scary." Taeil added.
"Yuta." Taeyong started. Yuta cracked his knuckles and smirked. "Do the honors."
Doyoung's eyes widen as he ran out the door with Yuta in hot pursuit. Taeil sensed all eyes on him as well. When Ten let out an angry yell Taeil ran in the same direction as Doyoung with all 10 members chasing after him.
Chenle and Renjun walked up to Jisung, confused at what to do next.
"Um, I guess we follow the others?"
"While your other members fight each other how about we go get some ice cream?" Lay offered which got a ton of cheers.
"I can use some ice cream." Baekhyun added which earned him a shove from Kyungsoo.
"Man up!"
"You try dealing with an angry Yuta! He's scarier than you!"
"No one is scarier than Satansoo."
