"And she's so pretty, and she likes legos, and she likes eggos, and she is so pretty, you know what Lewis, I think she's the girl I am going to marry," Lauri said trying to think of other things he had learned of romance, which was no a lot. For at the time Lauri was only seven, he had watched a romance movie with his mom once and decided he was in love with the little girl who went to school with Lewis. "But Lauri, she can't see you, how can you get married with someone you can't see?" Lewis replied kicking a rock at the Robinson's cat, "I can see her what are you talking about," Lauri said staring at the sky with intensity looking at a cloud that looked like Frank Sinatra's head, "no, no I meant she can't see you." Lauri looked at another cloud that looked like a tube sock, "oh that's right I forgot, and Mom says I am not allowed to talk to anyone. Hey Lewis that cloud looks like granny's dying rabbit!" The twin brothers walked down the neighborhood sidewalk getting home from school, Lauri did not go to school, but he made sure to go meet his brother and walk home with him every day. They had walked not long though when someone sneaked up behind Lewis and pushed him over. Lewis toppled over scraping his hands on the sidewalk, and he started to cry, "aw, why you crying baby man," the jerk kid Brandon from school was the one who did it, he smirked as Lewis started getting up, tears running down his face. "Talking to your stupid imaginary friend again, well weirdo, he can't keep me from doing this, ha!" Brandon pushed Lewis down again, and started laughing, poor Lewis rolled over scrambled up and ran away; leaving Lauri alone with Brandon. Lauri was so mad at Brandon by this time that he did not run away, he stood stock still thinking up a devilish scheme. Brandon turned around and started walking idly to the gas station near by where he always seemed to have enough money to buy anything he wanted there. Lauri followed him close behind, coming up with the best idea ever. When Brandon opened the door to the gas station, he found it shutting by itself in his face. Brandon fell down and landed on his butt, "ow! Hey who did that?" he said looking around, but no one was there. Brandon slowly got up and entered the gas station, he bought a large slushy cup and walked over to the machine. He wanted the Green Grape and Lime flavor, so he pulled down the lever and the colorful mixture poured in. The cup was about halfway full when the lever forced itself up and out of Brandon's hand back to were it was before. Brandon pulled hard on it, but the lever would not go down, "hey, the slushy machine is broken!" He shouted to the cashier man who was lazily reading the news paper ignoring him, "hey!" Brandon shouted, the man sighed and slammed down his newspaper on the counter, "what's wrong with it," he said walking over to Brandon. "The lever won't go down," the man sighed again and pulled the lever, it went down smoothly and the large cup was filled to the top. "Looks like it is working to me," said the man picking up his news paper and reading it again, Brandon stuck his tongue out at the man and walked out the gas station. He was about to take his first sip from his slushy, when he felt a sharp pinch on his arm, and then on his chin, and then on his back. "Ow, ow who's pinching me," he screamed the slushy cup removed itself from Brandon's hand and as it floated around in front of him it said in a hiss, "you drank my family, now you will die!" And then Brandon received a kick in the shin, but he did not think to stay long, Brandon ran away screaming.
"Hey Lewis, I have a present for you," Lauri said climbing into the tree house, Lewis looked up still very upset from being bullied. "what," Lewis said, a slushy cup appeared on the floor, "wow! Lauri were did you get it!" Said Lewis looking in at the lime green contents, "oh, well Brandon gave it to me."
