Annabelle started plotting how she would escape. When Sister Margret brought her the addresses she stuck them in her pillow case. She didn't want anyone to find them. When it became night and everyone was asleep, she took them out and put the address on the envelope she took from the orphanage. She began writing her letter.
Dear family,
I know you have no idea who I am. My name is Annabelle Wellington and I live in the Locket-Ridge Orphanage. I am ten years old and have lived here all my life practically. I need a home. I hope you'll consider me as an option to adopt.
Love,
Annabelle.
Once Annabelle wrote her letter she placed it in her pillow case and fell asleep.
