A/N: Spencer's perspective

First thing when I walk in I see her. She's standing with Allie. Although Allie is always extremely noticeable all I could focus on was her. Her hair was red and black, her skin as pale as the moon, a MCR t-shirt and ripped skinny jeans. I instantly wanted her, but I never felt this before. I didn't know what to do.
I ended up saying a few words and dashed to my locker. I regretted it the second I left, she probably thought I was a freak. Ugh, why am I so awkward?
The bell interrupts my thoughts and I hurry to class.
Great. She's in my class. I mentally slap myself before I blush from the smile she gave me.
I was okay at the beginning of the year. I thought it was going to be an ordinary year, but I have a feeling it won't be. Maybe this will be a good thing, as long as I don't act like the awkward fuck I really am.
I sat down in the back. She was around the front. I was staring at her, I didn't realize that I was until she looked back and caught my stare. I quickly looked down and played with my hands. "Shit you retard"  I again mentally slapped myself.

Juliet's perspective
I wondered why he was acting like he was. It made me think that he wanted to avoid me, like the bystanders who watched me be screamed at and tripped.
Flashbacks. Great. I started to think of my old school. Damn I hated it.
The bell rang and I watched Spenser practically run out the door. I tried to catch up to him, but he was lost in the giant crowd of people.

I had English. I remembered that Allie had said to me we shared this class, so I hurried to see ic she can tell me why Spencer was avoiding me.
"Heeyyyy! Juliet, didn't think you'd make it."
Of course she knew I would, it's school, but she so far seemed like a person with a lot of sarcasm and humor so I knew what she meant.
      "Hey....is Spencer always so quiet?"
"Around most people. But I don't think he would be to you." She said with a puzzled expression.
"All I did was smile and he basically ran to the back of the room."
"I see, he did this to Scar. She is his ex. I think he has a thing for you. " she said with a grin.
The teacher came in with a booming voice and Allie and stopped our conversation. Time passed, language was a bore, and finally lunch.
I saw Allie and she gestured for me to come over. I didn't eat much so I didn't get a lunch, instead I sat with Spenser, he again was staring down and played with his fingers.
"You know, you don't have to be shy or anything, not like you are but, your kinda not talking, I guess that is being shy" I wanted to die, I was rambling. I only did this with one other person. "Maybe I should shut up now."
He snapped out of his little thing and smiled.
"Are you laughing at me?" I asked with a smile.
      he nodded
"Sorry about before, I guess I did get a little shy. I didn't know what to do."
"It's fine" I said" I'm used to people avoiding me."
" I didn't mean to be like that. I'm sorry. Ummm. Sorry I just really didn't know what to do. You aren't like Allie and it's umm. I don't know.
I smiled because he started to ramble. I guess he kind of felt the same way I did.
