( I'm walking on a long road of nowhere. I'm lost. My feet hurts. My shoes worn off. I'm starving. I'm bleeding. I got cuts. There's no where to go. Help me. Somebody save me.)

My parents died when I was 9. That was a rainy day. A sad gloomy day. Just like today as I walk this long road.

How did I end up on this nowhere? It started when..

It happened 10 years ago. We were supposed to go to Unicorn Palace theme park. I love that magical place. Its like an explosion of rainbows. I was freaking excited that day. The rain drops looks like sparkling glitters on the car window.

Daddy aren't we going too fast? I said. It's okay sweetie we dont want to be late for the parade right? Mama said. She smiled so lovely and held my hand. So warm.

Everything turned sour when our car got hit by another car. I screamed and closed my eyes in the back seat. The sparkling glitters turned into blood sprays. I saw my mother and father they were..taken.. Then I lost consciousness.

I woke up with a shine of the sun in my face from the window. The doctor came in the room and sat beside me. He said I had some minor bruises but I'm totally fine. Then he broke to me the news about my parents. They were alive. My body aches so bad but I just wanna see them. I rushed out in the hall way. I ignored the nurse trying to make me slow down

Then... BANG! BANG! BANG!

I heard screams all over the hospital. I am almost there to the room. Blood flows from my parents' door. I rushed to the room and saw a man with a gun lying on the floor. And.. I saw them, Mama and Papa got shot in the head. I didn't make it. I missed the moment to atleast see them asleep. Breathing.
I stumbled on the floor. Blood of the motherfucker on my knees. I cried and cried until my head hurts so bad. I couldn't breathe. My body hurts. Everything went black. I passed out.

As I woke up, there's a nurse and a police officer talking. The nurse noticed I'm awake. Let me help you sit up. The nurse said. She introduced me to the officer and left some milk and chocolate chip cookies on the bedside table and walks out of the room.

The police officer sat beside me as I drink my milk.

Hello I'm just here to ask you some questions about you and your parents. I'm sorry for what happened.

I started to tear up when I remember my parents got shot on their beds.

But I'm here to help you kiddo and we'll catch the bad guys. Okay? The officer said.

I just nodded. I couldn't speak. I'm shaking.

What is your name kid? He asked.

My name is...

The nurse entered the room. You have a phone call sweetie. Sorry for interrupting officer. The nurse said.

The officer sighed. Are you kidding me? We're just about to.. Okay nurse Joy. He grinned and walk me out of the room.

Me: he.. hello? Who's this?

: keep it down sweetie. It's me.

M: Uncle Eustace! Oh please. Please take me out of here. Sob* I'm so freaking scared uncle. I..I.. I'm so alone.

UE: Calm down sweetheart! Keep your voice down! We have to be careful. I'll take you out of there as soon as I can. Okay?

M: I'm so scared. My mama and papa they are.. they are..

UE: I I I know dear...Your father is the only family I've left. And now his...(silence)
Okay. It's okay to be scared it keeps you alert like a ninja.

M: I like ninja.. ( I stood straight and wipe my tears)

UE: Now be like a ninja. Look around you. Is there anyone close to you that might hear us?

M: No. The nurse is talking to the officer.

UE: the officer.. tell me what he looks like? What is he wearing?

Me: He's tall and and he's wearing blue.

UE: typical.. now does he have a badge? The gold thing on his chest?

Me: yes. He IS an officer. Like the things you wear too.

UE: i know but we have to be sure.. and okay.. what does he told you?

Me: he asked my name..

UE: how bout his name? He didnt tell you first?

Me: no..? Am i safe uncle? Are you on your way now?

UE:...

Me: uncle? Are you still there?

UE: I'm here. Now.. Listen carefully to every word I'll say. Keep everything on your mind. You are smart and brave. Are you ready?

I gave a deep breath.
