No One's POV

A week has passed. A slow and painful week for the both of them. Whenever Luhan would try to go up to Jihyun, she would just walk away, far away from him. She would be the last to enter class and the first to leave. Not once has she spared a glance to him and all Luhan could do was just stare at his lover. He tried going to her house and use the key she gave him, but she changed the locks.

He missed having her in his arms, feeling the warmth radiating from her skin. He missed hearing her voice and that beautiful laugh of hers. He missed seeing her smile and that sparkle in her eyes when she was happy or excited. He missed everything about her.

For Jihyun, it was a different story. She had to stop herself for falling for him again. She felt his gaze on her, but it took too much self-control to keep herself from turning to look at him. Everyday she would find a light pink rose taped to her locker. She would always rip it off and throw it away knowing he was not to far, watching her. She would act like she's fine and doesn't care, but really she does. She can see the dark bags under his red swollen eyes. She can see a slight difference in his weight, even if its just a week. She noticed everything wrong about him. From his fake smile to how lifeless he had become.

Had she been such an impact on him? Had he been telling her the truth that he really love her?

She really does love him, but her stupid ego and pride didn't want to go through the heartbreak again.

She was so lost in thought that she didn't realize her phone was vibrating, loudly, in her blazer pocket.

“Jihyun,” Mr. Jung called out. “Jihyun. Lee Jihyun!” he snapped. She turned to look at him expressionless. “Can you please turn off your phone?”

She nodded and took her phone out.

DaeDae

5 missed calls

Daehyun's Dad

7 missed calls

Yongguk

4 missed calls

She looked at her phone questioningly. Just then a figure quickly made its way into Mr. Jung's class, making all the girls swoon.

“Sorry to disturb your class hyung,” Daehyun bowed and made his way to Jihyun's desk.

“Yah! Daehyun what are you doing?” Yunho asked, just then six more figures came into class. He bowed to Daehyun's father, “What are you doing here, sir?”

“Let's speak in private please. Boys get her to the car now,” Daehyun's dad pulled Yunho out of class while Yongguk went to grab Jihyun's hand, but she snatched it back.

“Daehyun, what the hell is going on?” Jihyun finally spoke up as he started packing her things.

“Hurry hyung,” Youngjae rushed him.

“Guys just take Ji to the car,” Daehyun said. He was stressing out. So much was going on all at once. He knew that Jihyun hated attention and boy were they all the center of attention right now.

“Daehyun, tell me what is going on,” Jihyun was starting to get annoyed because they were all ignoring her.

“We need to get out of here now,” he said seriously and grabbed her hand and dragged her out of class. In the back of the class, Luhan watch as his girl left with Daehyun once again.

He bitterly laughed.

Jihyun's POV

I was pulled into the car and once Daehyun's dad got in, the car took off.

“Can someone tell me what the hell is going on here?!” I snapped.

“Jihyun,” Daehyun's dad started. “Your father was in an accident and he's in critical condition right now. We're all headed to the States right now.”

I couldn't process what I've just been told. It felt like everything was going wrong. First the break up and now this. It seems like the heavens are hating me at this moment. After everything that had happened last week, I had no energy to cry.

“What about Secretary Shin?” I seemed to have found my voice after a few minutes.

“I don't know. The hospital hasn't released any information,” Daehyun's father answered. “We're here. Let's go.”

All of us headed to the private jet and took off. My mind was flooded on my father's condition. I silently prayed that he's alright.

Luhan's POV

I decided to stay after class to talk to Mr. Jung. He wasn't in the right mind ever since Jihyun left and I don't think I was the only one who noticed.

“Mr. Jung?” he turned around to look at me.

“Yes Luhan, how can I help you?”

I got straight to the point, “What happened? Why did they take Jihyun so suddenly?”

“Private business Luhan. You can leave now.”

“No, I want to know why everyone was so fidgety when they came in. Now what happened?”

He sighed and sat down, “She's heading to LA right now because her father was involved in an accident and he's in critical condition. A drunk driver hit his car, sending him and his secretary flying off of the freeway and rolling into a ditch. His secretary was that driver and he died on the scene of the accident. Doctors say that Jihyun's father's injuries are so severe that he might not make it because there is so much head trauma. He received surgery and is in an induce coma for now. Everyone is praying that he makes it, but there's a high chance that he won't.”

I took all the information in not believing that it actually happened. I wish I was there on the plane with her, but I'm stuck here. All I could do is pray.
