Crazy in Mafia Love.

Chapter One

I was sitting in a downtown cafe and I had my book laying in front of me and my coffee right next to it. I was ready The Great Gatsby for a school for a school project that was due next week. I loved the book and was ecstatic to see it on my reading list. I was listening to the cafe's band, it was a slow kind of jazz beat. I looked at the window and saw my reflection staring right back at me. I had my crazy curly blonde hair in a braid that reached my belly button. My chocolate brown eyes shined brightly in the light. I had on a ripped up pair of jeans and a baggy tan sweater that fit me just right and kept me warm in the fall weather of Seattle. My black leather boots covered my feet which dangled from the bar stool that i was sitting in, cuz sadly my tallness just doesn't exist. Being 5''3' sucks sometimes, but other times it can be an advantage.

I jumped down for the seat and walked over to the cashier, I quickly ordered a banana nut muffin, it was one of those big ones so it came to $4.15. Once I paid the cashier the money I turned around and saw this really cute guy walk into the cafe, guitar in hand. He had long brown hair and light brown skin with almost black eyes. His outfit was so skaterboy, it fit him and I wasn't surprised when he walked onto the stage after the band before left. I began to head back to my bar stool and he began to play a beautiful mellow tone. When I faced the stage again he wasn't looking at anyone but this beautiful petite girl that couldn't take her eyes off of him. At first I was a little disappointed but I quickly got over it because I knew that they were happy even when I wasn't. I smiled people are lucky to find someone that they can love completely. I don't hate love I just believe that you should be careful, i've been hurt too many times.

I got back to my book, when my phone rang. The name Jeffery popped onto the I-Phone surface. My instinct thought is to ignore it, but i'm not rude. So I swipe and i'm instantly bombarded by apologizes.

"Elizabeth, i'm so sorry, I shouldn't have done that to you. It was my mistake." His words of nothing slipped out of his cheating mouth, it made me sick.

"I don't want to hear it anymore, you've been saying that for the last week now. Honestly i'm so done with you. You were amazing and maybe if you didn't do what you did than maybe we would be in love but you cheated on me and I never can forget that." I said confidently even though my heart still hurt. "And you know what makes it worse is that it was with my best friend. Like really? I don't have time for this, drop my number and tell her that she can do the same." My anger flows with in me and as I hang up on him and quickly jump out of my seat. As I do though 2 things happened, 1 my body collides into a hard but warm chest and the coffee in my hand crushes between us. Good thing it was iced coffee. 2. My feet slip from underneath me (either from my clumsiness or the coffee, I don't really know.) and I start to fall backwards so I close my eyes tightly and expect the impact. Instead I find warm firm arms wrapped around me, making me blush before I even open my eyes. When I do i'm faced with a god, his beauty was unfathomable. First I saw his unruly beautiful black hair, then it was his stone straight cheek bones. I wanted to die when I saw his beautiful green eyes that just made me melt, and judging by his small chuckle I probably was. I got to my feet but not before awkwardly almost falling again. Every time his hand touched me, my whole body replied.

Then I began to feel the icy coldness of the coffee made itself known, and I glance at our matching stain marks

I am so sorry!" I apologize "I didn't mean to it was totally my fault." I look down at his white button down shirt and see a large coffee stain. "Oh my god, I can totally pay for a new shirt." I take a napkin and dab at my own.

"It's okay, it was semi my fault too." His voice was deep and made my heart leap. "My name is Dimitri." He held out his hands and I took it, it was so warm.
