I read the clock;

6:30 AM

good morning world, not.

At least today is Friday, that's the only thing getting me through this day.

I crawl out of bed and remove my pajamas, which consist of a tshirt and running shorts, and put on a pair of leggings and grab the softest hoodie from my closet and throw it on over my sports bra.

My hair is a crisis so I simply brush it and put it into a high pony tail paired with an under armour headband to pull back my pesky fly aways.

It being Friday and me having an I don't give a fuck what I look like at school mindset, I only put on a thin
layer of mascara as my skin is mostly clear. Glad I swim in that gene pool.

I lace up my adidas superstars and brush my teeth and I'm ready to go, almost.

"Mom! Dad!" I shout down the stairs.

No response.

I guess they've already left for work. I'd rather my parents get more hours in at work than a half assed good morning.

I walk down the staircase and grab a breakfast replacement drink cause I'm running late and stuff that in my book bag and begin my walk to school.

It's December and I live in Northern New Jersey so it's cold but my sweatshirt protects my skin from the cool air blowing against my body.

After about ten minutes of walking I'm almost at my school when I hear a familiar voice call my name.

"Jet!" She says.

"Hello Lucy." I groan as she walks up next to me.

"Goodmorning to you" she says furrowing her eyebrows.

"I'm just tired sorry if I act like a bitch today." I say wrapping my arm around her shoulders.

Lucija, known to everyone in school as Lucy, is my bestfriend. Since seventh grade.

We walk and talk until we reach the school and part ways.

As I'm walking to my locker I get a familiar shoulder shove.

"Watch it Dolan." I growl at him.

"It was an accident don't be such a bitch about it." He says, him and his group of friends look at me.

Grayson Dolan;
One of two of the Dolan fuckboys. Muscular, attractive, ugly personality. If hitting it and quitting was a sport he'd be the team captain.

He bumped into me why is he calling me the bitch. He's never usually this rude.

"Accidents don't happen everyday, fuck off and get to class, you don't want another F." I say flipping him off and continuing my walk down the hallway.

I open my locker and put my stuff away. And just like in the movies, a male being is resting behind the door of my locker, scaring the shit out of me when I close it.

"Jesus Christ Jack." I say clutching my heart.

"Did I scare you?" He giggles.
