"Move, move, move!" This is all the hero could cry to her old nemesis, who had almost got slain by an arrow. Bright green leaves fell to the forest floor as she was fending off one of the robots guardians. She leaped backward, which rewarded her with brambles lashing against clothed skin under her armor. The sky kept darkening as a storm formed over head. The forest around them creaked and groaned in pain as the warm, raging winds slammed against the towering trees. The ground was still mucky from last night's rainfall. It was treacherous for any being, the hero was was defying that rule by dancing across it, eyes locked on her target.

"Hey hero, watch your head!" Her ruby red orbs glanced in that direction. Her eyes widened as she ducked, avoiding getting her head chopped off. Her hair and the robot weren't so lucky. Two inches of her fiery red hair has been hacked off, along with the robot's head. Now with all the enemies defeated, they stood side by side. Rain droplets began to fall and splatter on her pitch black armor. There were only small details on it of red flame designs on her shoulders and hips. Her family jewel was embedded in the center of her chest, which was a flame trapped in gem form as well. Her mother gave it to her a couple of days before she and her father died. She turned to look at her temporary ally and screamed at him.

"How dare you slice my hair off you overgrown baboon! I have it back length for a reason!" She snapped at the individual. He leaned backwards under his cloak of midnight, gripping his black, blood dried axe tightly. His face was vast darkness, showing nothing but glowing red eyes. The cloak was tattered on the ends from years of use. "Yeah, yeah. Your mom had her hair like that before my troops burned your village down when you were little. Yadda, yadda, yadda. Now, can we get on with the rescue mission Flame Rider, Leader of team 'Warriors'?" She turned away and huffed out a warm breath."Yes, Kaos, leader of the 'Destroyers'. We shall continue as I embed weapons in your back." She stated as she removed a hand from a robot. She began walking to an underground building. The only thing that showed was a metal door sticking out in the center of a hill in a tiny clearing. As she drew closer, she triggered a trap that would end any a mortal. Like her. Arrows appeared from all trees near her in a circle.

She stood rigid in shock, seeing the arrows launch at her seconds later. Kaos was quicker than the arrows and launched himself like a bullet to protect her. He wrapped himself around her and gritted his teeth as arrows stuck out of him from every angle as great pain shook his body. After the arrows stopped being launched, neither of them moved. It felt like hours before Kaos removed himself from Flame and backed up to see if an arrow got her. After checking to see if she was okay, he nodded before stating,"Well, since you're okay, we can go now without triggering more traps. Right hero?" She stood in shock seeing what she saw. In his back were all the projectiles that hungered for her flesh to wound, but got immortal flesh instead. This is why he's impossible to kill.

Kaos reached to his back and began to pluck arrows out of it as he looked at the little hero. She looked up at him and her glare felt like daggers cutting him."I did not know you were an immortal, Kaos. This shall make it even more difficult to defeat you, you overgrown baboon." She muttered as she walked to the door. He chuckled before for he replied with,"Now, now. It would not be as fun to fight you if you knew you could not win, right hero?" Arrows still clung to his back as he laughed. She walked over to him, with her sword in hand, and stabbed him through the right shoulder. He jerked backward as the sword was ripped from it."Oww! That really hurt you know? Anyway, let's save our team members, right?" She looked at him as she walked to the door and gave a small nod as the door scanned the robot hand she had confiscated from one.

It opened to reveal a long corridor of darkness and the stench of blood, rotten meat, and death. Flame reached into a small grey satchel that was strapped to her side and a torch was taken from it. She lit it and was greeted with a corpse of a man dangling in front of her. She yelped in surprise and backed away, before maneuvering around it seconds later. The corpse was nothing but only a few pieces of flesh and all the bones of the man. It was in warrior uniform. The armor was corroding away and the sword lay in shattered pieces. Besides that, the hall looked like all the dark halls she has been in before. It was all made of gray metal. She gave Kaos the torch as she went behind him to remove the rest of the arrows. It was quite besides of the soft footsteps and clanks of the arrows hitting the ground one by one. It sickened her slightly by seeing blood ooze from his back. Each time she gripped on to the next arrow, her stomach did somersaults.
